I thought Phase 1 was the hard part, boy was I wrong. Phase 2 is a nightmare.
In legion havoc had netherwalk and leech at the same time so you had the chance to skip this, you still can also with metamorphosis but i struggle to survive without it until then.
Seems like it takes luck with the soul fragments and alot of versality
i done it with shadowlands equip. only bfa pot and flask. i wrote already about it. if you have problem at phase 2 i think you too quick walk with him. just do a small steps along the wall. bloodlust, pot and meta after killing first adds.
phase 1 simple enough if you know all timers. if you need to get him back to the center try after kick cast quickly run up and run away from him a little bit towards the center
guys, i know it hard. but i know what i talking about cause i kill xylem 3 times (2 times I showed how to do it to my friends on stream in discord)

Phase 1 simple enough if you get lucky with demonic appetite. Meaning you have to bruteforce it until it works. Since the nerf 90% of my attempts stopped there because I was unable to regenerate fast enough because I was barely getting any souls at all.
The tower challenge is garbage.
from the start stay closer to the center with xylem, very close. after he cast ice imprison (idk how translate it on english, sorry) double jump from it and rush to xylem, kick cast and go closer to the center, after cleave ice rocks by eyebeam, dance, glaive tempest and you will get many souls. you can eat it one by one. while you have many souls from it you can save your eye beam for meta from demonic after eating souls fragments. i hope you will understand my bad english. i’m rlly want to try help by advice or something like that
p. s. if you have equip with versa use it. it will give you healing, damage reduction and damage. i was about 26% versa inside the tower. and i already said that but hymnar of the path very good choice for this boss on both phases. that trinck do a lot of damage and help you healing if you have below than 50% hp
and you shouldnt eat soul fragments if you can kick cast then stun him. you can save some souls fragments
I dont know how you guys have damage on last phase
The problem is the next phase when he starts casting arcane stuff. He refuses to move after interrupts and there are not enough prisons to get souls.
I have about 20% vers in the tower, and even that is not enough.
It doesn’t help either that half my fel rushes bug and either go only half the distance, or stop my momentum mid-air, making it impossible to reach him in time when he does clones.
good kiting. as slowly as possible. when you will go out from combat after first phase use book for change talents. in first tier you should to get blind fury (1 talent of 1 tier) and use two glaves with slow debuff. when he casting adds, you run away from him at 3-4 sec before debuff end. give stun them, glave tempest, glaive for slow, eye beam, death sweep and run back to the wall. and slowly kiting him with small steps. use bl (from shadowlands for 40 sec) and pot from bfa for 1 min, use meta.
dont firget use food on agility (table. no matter what table) and rune
For a skill based challenge, there’s an awful lot of requirement when it comes to consumables, gear, and talents.

Also you were able to dodge with Blade Dance, you had more stamina in Legion
last phase, should be nerfed, i dont have dps enough for that, i dont know how ppl do it, because watch a lot of videos on youtube, guides etc etc, i do like they do and i cant kill the ‘‘last boss’’, i dont have enough damage
I second that. Been stuck on Phase 2 for days without luck now. If I save Eye Beam for adds, I won’t do enough damage on the boss. If I Eye Beam the boss, I won’t have enough damage for the adds.

When i can handle adds, i still dont have enough dps, and i use all, eye beam glaive tempest etc
Finally managed it yesterday, it was a very tight race. If you’re struggling with DPS on the boss, make sure you squeeze in an extra eyebeam after the first adds, possibly after the second as well, depending on how lucky you get with Cycle of Hatred. If you’re not unlucky, EB should come off CD again while you’re taking down the second adds.
Also make sure that whenever the boss starts channeling, keep DPSing it for a few seconds before running away, preferably without expending all of your fury. Fury management makes a big difference when it’s almost time for the adds again.
Unless you’re really good at taking down the adds quickly, I’d avoid Eye Beaming the boss twice after the third set of adds, since you’ll have a much shorter window with the last ones.

You’re absolutely right. I just feel a little guilty for not being able to help in anyway, even though I’m trying my best. I try to explain, suggest, advise. I specifically came back and passed this test many times and analyzed every moment on the stream. I watched how people do it, suggesting where they made a mistake and where it could have been done easier, better and faster. and I am sad that I could not help someone. I go to the North American forum every day hoping to see nerfs or fixes. and I believe that everyone can do it and feel the taste of victory and enjoyment of the reward. I know I wrote too much text, but I feel like I wanted to say this…
