Just go and pug some keys from +20 and up, or just have every class character and go to train dummy. I have all casters and I see huge difference.
And the utility is not up to debate, it’s there, it’s OP.

And that would tell me what exactly? So if i pug a key with an arcane mage in it and he does worse than an affliction lock does that mean all arcane mages are bad?

Even with warcraft logs you can look at 95th percentile players if you want to exclude people who aren’t as good at pressing their buttons:-

It does, just mildly ahead of Demo warlock and Balance druid. But they are hardly OP.
If they were as busted as you claim they would be miles ahead.

So mages are number one. There is no class who is above them with all the specs.
And they still have their utility on top of that

Pretty much all dps classes are within 10% of each other. Accounting for playstyles and differing abilities i dont see that as being really bad. Its far better than a lot of other seasons where only 3 specs were 20% clear of the rest of the pack.

You can’t pretend Fire is all specs. But it would be pretty poor if a pure dps class didn’t have at least one strong spec. Bit like Warlock has specs at the top and bottom of the list.
Mages were only hotfixed in recent weeks.

I’m not pretending. All 3 mage specs are above BM. All 3 mages specs are above other classes’s all DPS specs. If class has one DPS spec, mage is above that.
Mages were fine in m+ before buffs
And on top of that they have their utility, you probably don’t know what I’m talking about because you don’t know what it means “to not have utility”, since you are the mage of melee DPS

Hunter was nerfed, Mage was buffed. Both still perform well in M+.
