Title says it, this entire AOE grinding thing for Mages needs to stop.
I get it… it’s fun. But what it does for the game is nothing but detrimental.

Neither are Hunter bots, or Hunters being able to solo lvl 30 elites at lvl 25 with 0 downtime. Whats your point, again?
More classes are able to solo lvl 30 elites they just have a slightly harder time. I think that’s perfectly fine.
However Mages just being able to mass pull mobs and aoe them is a totally different thing and it shouldn’t be possible as it can break and ruin a economy.

90% off mages cant even do a decent pull without dieing…

Might sound troll, but I’m not trolling: it’s a skill issue, which means it’s good for the game.
Mage is an amazing class.
Mages have always been able to do crazy AoE farming, only difference now is they are able to do it at level 25 without blizzard
That is not only difference, doing mage aoe farming took some skill, 1 mistake and you died , also you could farm only specific places , now thanks to heal they get they can farm pretty much anywhere where are packs with no drawback besides not going to 0 health before you start your rotation.
Go try it, it’s not as easy as it looks.
I am actually doing mage right now , missing arcane blast and explosion rune, I can aoe farm even now at level 8 , but def risky as Living flame alone does not last long enough , but when I get arcane blast I don’t see how I can die.
Yeah levelling was very easy, for sure!
But the big wetlands orc/stockades pulls are not that easy to pull off.
Fine with “crazy” aoe farm just not the fact they can just face tank and get away with it that’s just so wrong, some classes struggle vs pulling 2 mobs and mages just face tank with little risk……

Wailing caverns: 25-30 minutes for a fast 5man.
Mage: i’ll pull the whole dungeon in 1 pull and do it in 7mins, facetanking 185 mobs which are mostly elites, and charge 4x people 8g per run.
Seems fair 
So create a mage. Sounds fair to me.

they already went against mage aoe farming dungeons before why should they still allow it now…? Bots are already abusing it as well just does not make sense to leave it as it is right now.
Probably only 10% of all the mage players are able to do this farm, but now apparently bots are doing it too ? I think you should join the “I hate mages” club, its leader is Yangkai. I suggest all of you make mages and try to do this farm. I doubt you’ll be able to kill 10 mobs at the same time though sadly

I find it funny because almost none said that mage aoe farming was not easy before SOD, now at SOD when it is way easier you have people defending it and saying it is actually hard to pull of.
Gratz. Go farm it then and make gold. For the record I never said it’s hard. I said that these people wouldn’t be able to pull it off. Also saying that bots are doing it is, to put it mildly, dumb 
I doubt that bots are doing, have not seen it personally, but I could imagine them doing in lower level dung with smaller pulls.
