When you have to move mountains to force a 1500 mage to press his defensives, there is something extremely broken about this design

maybe…thats because…HIS KIT IS SO OVERLODED WITH DEFENSIVES THAT HE SHOULDNT HAVE???
the only way to kill a mage is to burst him before his iceblock global, because he is so used to not having to press it from my experience (not even joking)
if you got it all ready, you could try to nuke the moment you interrupt a frost spell (that is if he is frost), but jokes on you he has alter time which is on a different school
This. Infinite cds and infinite schools of magic is the problem. I wouldnt even mind most of its abilities are instant, but basically a mage who knows what hes doing, is pretty much untouchable unless his team is totally clueless and even then its a 50:50.
Meanwhile, playing against mage is extremely punishing as a healer, because even if you do hide behind the pillar after casting, these MOFOs blink while casting and still sheep you.
I mean, unlike WW what can tank infinite damage. Mages are pretty squishy once connected too, for frost. I think ray is doing too much dmg. Fire/arcane can’t comment but I know they are doing giga damage. Defensives for mages isn’t the issue, they are squishy.

HE SHOULD NEED TO PRESS ICEBLOCK, and then become vulnerable, like everyone else in the damn lobby
why should a mage have the privilege to not need to press his major defensive…oh is it because he has a billion cheese mechanics that act as major defensives? REMOVE
this is just like rogues with their cheese vanishes and cdr that they just spam all game, and never have to be vulnerable and press major cds, BCUZ THEY HAVE TOO MUCH CHEEEEEEEEESE
Issue is your basing this off shuffle, 3’s is different. Game should be balanced around 3’s, and you know what’s horrendous to face in both shuffle and 3’s? WW monk.
Arcane mage is def unkillable and just ruins fun for every1 as per usual. Fire mage you can touch them at least for a global but they usually kill you from 80 yards. All mage specs need to get nerfed asap.
