So, I know this question comes a little bit late in the expansion but what is the best class for a Mag’har orc? One of the racials strictly refers to pets which receive an additional 10% health. Does that mean a hunter is significantly better than a warrior for example?
Not really since pet health isn’t exactly an issue because pets have inherent AoE resistance.
Their racial benefits all classes equally since it’s a random secondary stat boost. Sometimes you get your optimal stat, sometimes you don’t. Just go with what you like most for whatever other reasons.
The Racial diversity as followed are:
Ancestral Call: Invoke the spirits of your ancestors granting you their power. Increases a random secondary stat by 102 for 12 seconds.
Open Skies: Increases mounted speed by 10%.
Savage Blood Reduces the duration of Poisons, Diseases, and Curses by 10%.
Sympathetic Vigor: Increases pet health by 10%.
Now to the suggestion of class we need to break the racial choices down
Ancestral Call, This racial is a random buff so this racial is universal to all classes and will benefit them equally so this can be categorised as something that will positively affect all classes equally.
Open Skies, This would be under the same situation as Ancestral Call and holds no value to PVE content but if this can be stacked with proc mounting then this would serve as an advantage for said class though they cannot be Paladins so this is more of a general perk overall.
Savage Blood, This racial to me seems to be more catered towards the PVP community and is a great addition to the race, I would see this also being considered a neutral addition to which would benefit all classes.
Sympathetic Vigor, This one is catered to classes that have the ability to summon pets, I would suggest if this also buffs the HP of instant cast pets such as the Rock Golem, Fire Elemental etc then this would categorise that this racial leads towards best being suited to these types of classes that sometimes require bursting in PVP with extra pets as most commonly in PVP hunters pets are targeted and killed first to render them handicapped in a fight due to the pet having its own core spells including silences.
So I would personally suggest that you take a look at the classes that come with rotations that may have pets included or instant cast pets that might be focused upon to stop you performing at your peak.
Thanks for taking the time to read my comment have a wonder Warcraft like day!
[Take out spaces in links].
They sim well for Arcane Mage and Fire Mage,

They sim okay for Elemental and Enhancement Shaman,

But as you can tell from looking at all the races for all the classes… mostly everything is well balanced. Choose whatever class you like.
Thank you for your responses! I think I will go with either a warrior or a hunter in the end.
