I agree there should be a broom mount perma on offer for doing all the HE achis.
However there should absolutely not be an instant cast version, as this would make this the only mount in the game with this functionality, quickly turning it from a “cool extra” into a “gameplay advantage”.
No mount should offer that kind of perk, beyond passenger seats and extra utility (vendors) mounts should not have differences between them.
An instant cast mount is a huge gameplay advantage in pvp and in gathering. Just ask druids.
It’s one thing for have a gameplay perk looked behind a class (you can freely choose) or game content tied to current affairs (like pathfinder).
It’s quite another to have them stuck behind stuff like collection achievements which require you to either farm old raids, etc to meet the threshold as that is coercing your gameplay habits against the current content in order to grab an advantage for current content. It’d be like sticking extra bags with huge slots or permanently reducing HS cooldown (or giving you a new low CD Oribos hearthstone), or unlocking new Maw flight paths for stuff like pet battle achievements.
Stuff like exalted with DA for those FPs? Sure. Makes sense.
I mean imagine if they locked an instant cast mount behind KSM? People would riot.
That is to much fun. FUN IS NOT ALLOWED. Ask for something miserable and you have a better chance of getting. LIke a nerf to shamans class then they will do it.
I agree.
Having a temp brrom is useless for me as I don’t see the point in using it when I’ll have to go back to something else next week.
If it was to stay a temp mount then it should do some really cool things like fly much faster or be immune to boomerangs etc.
We are so addicted and conditioned to refusing anything that makes the game smoother/more enjoyable that it’s actually scary. Kinda feels like wow is a big experiment on how to turn people into obedient masochists.
This is the bit most people want, insta-cast mount and Blizzard will not do it so it stuck on two classes. That’s if Monks still have the Monkey cloud.
