Magical Crawdad Speed
I have seen many allegations of cheating, I believe most of them were wrong, misunderstandings.
You have your Direhorn, so I assume you are less inclined to the usual beginner misunderstandings.
The few times I have known cheat accusations to be justified were in the case of bugged abilities, like Shell Rush when it was first introduced. I know of no bugged abilities in the Crawdad.
VSA is 242 speed while Crawdad is 227, so the speeds you report are right … but who makes a PvP team with a Crawdad slotting Snap? Surge, ofc, is a priority move, so in the situation you report, if slotted, the Crawdad’s Surge would go first and kill the Anubisath. Further, the animation (but not the effect) for Surge is intermittently bugged, so sometimes doesn’t display correctly.
- Hypothesis: your opponent Surged, your animation did not display, and you were left with the belief that you were cheated.
- Test: what abilities were slotted? Did you capture your Log, which is the only real evidence for or test of anything?

P.S. Are you sure you lost? Why do you think so?
One of my old peeves with PvP is that when returning, it often displays the “Battle Finished” message and the disappointed sound, even when you won.
