Hello, people! I am returning WoW after a long time, and wanted a fresh start. I am deciding now what class choose for main character, what can you tell me about the warrior (or maybe advise me different class, but i think i like melee the most (except pal), Warrior looks the most interesting for me right now and maybe DK, and which spec should i choose?

Hi, just rerolled war mainly doing Arms and its really fun, there are many cry topics about war specs but I have 160 ilvl do some HCs dungs and I am toping dps meter. Need to get used to it and think about your cds. I am running with Venthyr coz of high burst of Condemn. You only need good 2H wep. Also I am not struggling with Questing and so on due to talent second wind which heals you. Go war and profit. Don’t care about S and A tiers for M+.

I am undestand it right that to change spec from Arms to Fury or back you just need to use 2 (fury) or 1 (arms) two-hand weapon. So if you have 2 weapons you can always switch easily?

All 3 specs are good and I enjoy playing them all. It’s hard to really advise much about performance because we’re at the early ages of the expansion where things have not yet settled, also because Blizzard typically does a large balancing wave during the first week of raiding prior to Mythic raids releasing, and things will change after that week (for better or worse).

Need to say that prot is really hard atm. With its threat generation you will hear lot of flame in dungeons.

I’ve not been tanking dungeons so no personal comment, good friend of mine who plays Warrior and tanking in a pretty decent guild seems to think Warrior tanking is fantastic, I’ve also heard from healers saying Warrior is easy to heal so I’d say it’s pretty good.
Maybe the issue comes on the need to make a choice between damage/mitigation (Revenge/SB/IP) when spending rage and the high cost of Ignore Pain? I assume when you play it right and get into the flow the spec works well.
