Major lag spikes after 11.0.5 patch

Started getting huge lag spikes (5-15 seconds) making any group content basically unplayable.
It chugs along for a minute or two, then lags, then it’s fine again for a minute, then it repeats itself.
Home ping is usually fine (68-70ms), but the World one gets as high as 3000ms or sometimes even higher.

After a week of tinkering around with different laptops, network cards, connection types etc. I found out that the problem was in the combination of Windows update + drivers update to my Intel WiFi laptop network card (Intel Wi-Fi 7 BE200).
Same issue happened on an older Intel card (Killer Wi-Fi 6E AX1690i).

I fixed it by disabling / switching some features in the Device Manager.
