How would you all feel if Blizz decided to put ALL spec of ALL (race available) classes in your Specialization screen, instead of the 3 you get after you pick a class.
I know Blizz will never do this, because they make a Ton of Money on Race Change Etc.
But would’t it be super cool if you could just swap from any class/spec to another just like you do know with 3 specs.
They can easily make this happen, more so then all the new programming they have to do for warbands.
Gear(plate, cloth etc) would be solved the same way as weapons would be now if you swap a spec with different weapon types. Just make them “red”.
Same goes for gear stats. Like a druid who switched from Int to Agi for different specs.
I feel like this would feel so much more current age.
This was 1 of the reasons I did highly enjoy New world when it came out(don’t make this discussion about new world though xD)
And if it would make you feel less of a RP.

No. This is one of those unbreakable barriers. WoW has had a single character-single class system since it was created, the whole purpose of which is to make players depend on one another.
At this point the game is very alt friendly anyway.
This restriction was not created to make money.
Even Elder Scrolls Online, which builds upon Elder Scrolls, which is famously class-less in Skyrim, did not do this.
I would accept it if it not only required relevelling from 1 for every other class/specialization, but each time requiring additional time.
I’d rather they first allow us to have every profession on one character, with the limitation of being able to level only 2 professions for the last and pre-last expansion so that there is a crafting market active.

Many people will tell you, that some time ago, classes felt “special” because every class had something that the other class or spec didn’t had. And that made it special.
And you know what? I agree with it. I think every class should be truly special and bring something different to the table. That’s what force people to cooperate and socialize. And that’s what made WoW great.

come on - we started from being barely able to switch SPEC or TALENTS within a spec.
now we have spec switching on the go, out in the world, all specs availble…
Factions? well, remember this was a thing? Remember you couldnt play with ur opposite faction buddy? or do a dungeon with them?

I don’t want it but I know this is actually going to some sort of these WoW-stolen games that are advertised on YT and where you can “roll all WoW skills and put on one character” or something.
