This is a must , i know it doesn’t sound correct from a moral point of view but it’s a must .
Most crafters will refuse to use their mettle for crafting orders because it’s sb .
Proffesions like mining /herba which a tone of players like myself picked are looking at it in inventory it will rot till the end of the expansion if i live that long .
Make it sellable on ah it’s a crafting regeant .
I think it should be possible to attach the mettle for making an illustrious insight to an order at least and some mechanism to manage that. Otherwise the most I’m going to offer is the probability of a rank 5 upgrade…

Atm i want to upgrade my lariat to 418 i got all the mats ,on the realm i am there is only 1 person that does that . he asks 15k gold for that mettle .IT’s absurd .
While i got 2500+ mettle from herba and mining .

I would still vote for sellable on ah even if it doesn’t sound to good .
I would just suggest flat out remove it, or have it so you can buy it from Vendors like flux.
It’s just a timegating tool. It is there simple to limit your progression (i.e making Profession equipment) and limit the amount of Max rank crafts you can guarantee on a weekly basis.

Any solution that would work would be fine , selling it would give players without proffessions a chance to put it in the working orders and not be forced to pay absurd amounts of gold for the crafters mettle .

15k total or 15k mettle +crafting fee? Cuz i paid 20k for randomized +free recrafts and i thought i got a good deal
