Make daily or weekly quest automatic

daily or weekly quest should be automatic
going to X place 10 times with alt is repetitive

On heroes of the storm when you have a quest it’s on the menu or you can see on the top right the increase xp buff

I was thinking the same systems for WoW, no need to go to the gladiator sanctum everytime or to other daily and directly go to the place

Right now it feels like a burden to go to the place of the daily just to start the quest (for example you want to queue battleground blitz but no in order to have all reward you must move to X place before you queue, then you queue until queue pop).
Having to move just to take the Daily/Weekly feels like a core instead of directly go into the fun and being happy

I agree - it’s monotonous sometimes, especially with crafting quests xD

I like to be able to pick and choose if I want to do them though. Professions I’ve capped knowledge in, I no longer pick up the weeklies for, for example.

For me this would be a nightmare to have every weekly or daily thrust upon every character as I log in. I still don’t like going back to old zones and have the invasion zone thrust upon me with no option to actually decline.

I like to pick and choose what quests I’m going to do and I certainly wouldn’t want anything to over write the previous week’s weekly that I’m still working on (Aiding the Accord) and for my progress to be reset.

Many dailies we only do until we are done with them. I’m not sure this has a one size fits all kind of solution

Instead of automatic, just have a menu window you can open and choose the ones you want to do. The weekly, profession and so on.

I wish there was something we could do with surplus knowledge points, spend it on boxes of materials, artisan’s mettle, vanity stuff like a tabard with the profession logo (The one on the banners near the crafting stations) or something else profession-related.

We can trade in excess points for mettle but that’s it. I don’t do the quests anymore but I still get the dragon shards of knowledge from content, and the odd here is a skill up thing in the open world. So I do use the trader occasionally.

Huh, i didn’t know that, too bad that besides knowledge points, mettle is the other thing i have a huge surplus of, not much to use the stuff on as engineer…

The main weekly quests for current expansion can be picked by opening your Journal and accepting them from there.

That doesn’t include the weekly profession quests though so you still end up having to go and pick those up if you want to do them.

I really wouldn’t want them to be auto accept. The BFA ones did that and still do and it’s really annoying having to abandon it every time i pass through the zone.

Did the weekly to aid Loamm’s 1500 rep quest, got 16k gold from it… you want that automated? :astonished:

Maybe instead of making one more weekly along the 20 weeklies we have and all the world quests:

Just merge the mission table mechanic with Professions. Have a profession mission table basically. That’s the type of gameplay, crafters sign up for anyway. The reason you’re sick of weekleis is because we have the same “go to xyz location, kill xyz” type of quest every week for every content type.

I’d like if the weeklies were all available in there. They could even have a tab for it or tabs for different content suggestion instead of one giant scroll through.

That sounds like a good solution. The Journal lets you view raids and dungeon by expansion so seems a sensible place to add in the weeklies for each exapansion too.

The alternative would be to make use of the Warboard’s again in cities, where you could click on that to get the list of weeklies in the same way.

i think a menu in the quest log will suffice

Like with what they done with the traveler journal

I much prefer the option to opt in to quests as opposed to opt out.
