Death = permanent before lvl 60 yes, but at lvl 60 it should not be permanent.
Going from 1-60 has a time frame because of the XP you (cant avoid) get-ting. But being lvl 60 hardly has any time frame at all.
Reaching lvl 60 is the carrot.

If you fear dying, there’s the regular realms.
Even after level 60, you can and will still be able to die in things like raids after all.
Roll a char on Era server and don’t die.
If you die, reroll, just don’t cheat yourself until 60.
Why do you need HC?
Wow-forums must have the record of useless replies.
When u die on HC you can continue playing that char in a normal non hc realm so whats the issue?
If you die at 60, go to the Era server, then you’re good to go on.

I can see where this is coming from, but some of the players are pushing the HC journey into the pre-bis grind and raiding scene and it wouldn’t be coherent to have both HCs and non-HCs on the same servers.
You can always free transfer to era server after death. Its not permanent.
