Title. We already have option to make premade groups cross faction, there is no reason to keep the factions separated in dungeon finder. Dungeon leveling experience is awful, the wait times are long unless you are playing healer or tank. On horde the situation is not as awful at it is for the alliance. As of writing, I have been sitting 30 minutes in dungeon waiting for the dungeon tool to replace the leavers.
I know that there are those who want to complain about cross faction ruining their immersion. Please do tell me how your immersion is ruined when every other patch Alliance and Horde are at each others throats for some unnecessary minor issue (like burning some old tree stump or glowy power rocks popping in Silithus and other parts of the world) and then unite together against the FORCES OF EVIL^™ because wE aRe StRoNgEr ToGeThEr! I am not asking to abolish the factions, just pop the small leveling population of both factions into the same swirling pool of mindless dungeon grinding.
ALSO, can we already abolish the factions? As mentioned before, Alliance vs. Horde faction drama is as enjoyable as watching people sit on empty glass jars. To keep battlegrounds relevant, just give the players the option to pick either Team A or Team B which are rivals. Below are list of possible options for these new “factions” to replace Alliance vs. Horde:
Team A vs. Team B
White vs. Black (though this may be trademarked to the USA)
Dingelbum vs. Bungeldim
Hairytoes vs. Faceham
Vegans vs. Karens
Pepsi vs. Milk
IBS vs. IBD
Burnt Night Elves vs. Burnt Teldrassil

It’s more important to keep group content running up, than keeping the player base divided.
I also noticed during Legion launch, while leveling my Human Warrior as a lower level that the 2 times the Tank quit, we didn’t got a replacement. I never had that problem on Horde side.
It depends a lot on what dungeon content you are queuing for, but in general there are waiting times even for tanks, though not too long (5-6 minutes at worst).
If you are talking about DF dungeons I am not surprised with the, stunts some people are pulling off in them. I find it better and faster to just level my character during timewalking from 60 to 70.
In general I feel there is a healer shortage these days, even in leveling dungeons.
What level are you que at ? is the mage you are writing on ? and if so what chromie time are you doing as it depends a lot on the expac you are que for.
I agree all LFR/LFD should be now cross faction at this point it is bizzare it is not.
I think it’s easier said than done. Dungeon finder for 50-60 has been bugged since the expansion launched and they still can’t fix it.
Whether they don’t have the resources or the code is just too spaghettified doesn’t matter at this point. Evidently, they can’t change it that easily.
