This does not only apply for Enchanter’s Illusion - Glorious Tyranny but for other pvp enchants as well. The bloody dancing steel enchant which is the enchant that the illusion is a replica off was avaliable to players that had 2.2k raiting in arena. We had no idea at the time that the enchant was going to be an illusion… for players at a higher raiting.
A lot of people got 2.2k for the gladiator sets and the enchant (me included). It seems rather unfair that the enchant/illusion is now only avaliable for players that are higher than 2.2k raiting even though we were able to get the enchant at 2.4k
There is no way to code it, so that players who were 2k2 back then are able to purchase it because they do not have that data for all characters anymore. They can however make it, so that people who have duelist achievements from that time, can buy the enchant. If they would lower this requirement, they would have to find another achievement, to tie this requirement to, so the next best thing would be going down to rival, which would open the enchant up to anyone who was like what 1800 or 1900 back then?
The duelist requirement seems like a fair compromise. The alternative would have been giving it only to gladiators or to nobody.
Tbh mate in s14 duelist was around 2050 so 2.2 would of given you duelist anyways. in s15 it was 2330 ish so u were probably around 100 rating away then if you sat 2.2. Should of pushed the last 100 rating, unlucky Also the “gladiator set” was 2000, enchant 2200 and I dont understand what you mean by getting it at 2.4? If you were 2,4 you should of gotten duelist in either season.
Interesting. I had Duelist in season 13 & 14 and 2.2k in a fair few of the mop/wod expansions and I ended up getting the MOP 2.2k illusion for my weapons.
