Good Morning, Good Evening and Good Night all,
I am Indominus Rexi and I come to you today to suggest something that for some unknown reason the crowds in the streets are not shouting for. They should be shouting with all their hearts for this for it would give them the freedom to follow their dreams.
Engineering is a near mandatory profession for anyone who is taking PVP or PVE even slightly seriously. Even with changes to buff other professions engineering just has too much in it. Now some may say NERF NERF NERF. But this is not the answer. We don’t NERF first aid because it can heal you . So I want the Devs to change Engineering to be a secondary profession so that all can use it without having to feel like they are not being able to follow their dream of being a Miner and Blacksmith or Herbalist and Alchemist.
Lets allow people to be crafters and gatherers and also Engineers ! .
TLDR: Engineering should be made a secondary profession as it is near mandatory for anyone slightly srs about PVE and PVP.

I actually agree with this. Engineering is on par with First Aid at the moment in terms of importance, especially in PVP. If not more!
Either massive nerf it like put insanely massive cooldowns on things like bombs or grenades or just make it a secondary skill.
Bad idea, its not mandatory for PvE and only sweaty pvpers say its critical to take it. If it did become a secondary you would also force people to take mining as a primary profession to level it, this ruins all other combos.
Whats next ? should everyone have all professions ?

We didnt even see what comes for other profs after lvl 30.
In the beta all prof got massive blue gear updates where you actually might be better of for leveling with those.
What if some pre-BIS or even BIS items later on come from other prof?
We dont know nearly enough to make the claim eng is mandatory or better.
I like this idea, make it a secondary professiom
As someone who basically treats Engineering as my first slot proffesion on any character i am playing, that is not my designated druid farmed with mining/herb.
I actually dont like this idea, i have decided to be better at pvp/pve whatever, i shouldnt be allowed to pick up 2 more professions now, its breaks everything
This was refreshing and unexpected. I agree with this and never even thought about it myself. It makes a lot of sense and would be super fun. They could go crazy with engineering and make all kinds of fun stuff.
Nah Engineering is plenty.
