Make eyewear separate from headwear

Hello.

I wonder if it would be possible to make eyewear separate from headwear for transmogging? For example, I would like to have an eyepatch in addition to wearing a hood on my rogue. I think this would open some more interesting possibilities to transmogs, but Iā€™m not sure how difficult it would be to implement.

I think theyā€™re testing around with that ring cosmetic thing for purposes like this. So Iā€™m guessing thatā€™s exactly what we should be getting in 10 or 15 years

If itā€™s possible, Iā€™d definitely like to see that change.

We can also add to the transmog wanted list:

  • Seperate neck transmog - including appearances for actual necklaces, but of course also moving some current head slot items to this one (like the scarf).
  • Ability to seperate the look of your braces, gloves and boots for the left and right side - like you can with shoulders.
  • Ring mogs for both hands - theyā€™ve already started doing ring appearance for one hand with toys and in the next patch with an actual item, so might as well go all the way and give us more than just the 1 on the right hand and start creating looks for all rings eventually.
  • The ability to choose the layer of the chest and shirt. This would allow a lot more options by wearing a shirt over certain chest mogs.

Defo get my vote.
Also rings, necklaces, earrings mog. And yes to seperate on the mentioned plus bracers and gloves.
And be able to put quivers on cloaks!!!

I absolutely agree with this! Especially now that they added so many nice glasses. My Draenei Miner has to take off his glasses in order to don his Mining helmet. Then he runs around in his Garrison mine, squinting to find the ore, and banging his hooves on rocks. Itā€™s fortunate that he doesnā€™t have toes! We need to be able to wear glasses and a helmet!

:scream: ā€¦

Itā€™s not realy a question if it can be done but how to do it.

For example what pieces of gear to convert into eyewear slot, should engineering goggles be there or not. How to deal with clipping for more closed helmets that still show the face or put some eyeglow effects over the eyes. How it should work with headpieces that have some headwear built in like recent nobleman sets that heve a tophat with a monocle.

Maybe there could be possible to split the head up in ā€œvisual slotsā€.

  1. Full helmet
  2. Tophead / hats
  3. Eyes
  4. Masks
  5. Hoods

So you know, you equip one of those full head bucket Helmets the other visual slots get grayed out.
But then you could combine a eyeglasses with a hood or a mask,
Or have a mask and a hat. So on so forth.

I also personally think that the scarfs and the beads we have gotten from the trading post should be mogged onto the neck

Iā€™d add scabbards too.
Some would be on your hip, some on your back. Some might be magical and hide themselves and their weapon.

Some work needed to make their shape fit the respected weapon but not a massive amount I should think.

Could be plain leather ones or funcy bejeweled ones.

I never really liked swords sticking through belts in their brazen nakedness. Awfully dangerous and those belts must need much repairingā€¦
