Make golds from boosts

hi me and my friend want make golds and we thinking try do boosts but we both kinda casuals so we think do glory of fire lands boost or glory of ulduar but idk how much gold this boost deserve

also im thinking to do +10 key boost but we are 2 only and dontthink randoms will accept so any ideas?

im not quite sure how valuable +10s are. the important ones are +15 keys because of mount achievement and best weekly item.

no idea about boost prices though but let me tell you, if you re going to sell boosts, be prepared. i wouldnt want to pay gold for two casuals to just wing it.

never bought a boost but if i did i d expect a quick and professional execution of task x.

edit: have you tried applying to one of those…boosting communities or something like that?

edit2: just had a look around and after i sifted through all the real money boosting sites i gave up and decided to just look at gallywixes site.

those are their prices:

however, keep in mind, those are extremely skilled players, not casuals.

havent found firelands in their catalogue so i suppose its not very profitable in the first place.

I’m in a boosting community (with my guild) and I can tell you it requires a great deal of knowledge and experience to do +15 boosts fast and effectively.

I’m not sure how much you could ask for the raid meta achievements tho, but the same thing applies as I said before: knowledge and experience (and being able to prove that).

Good luck though!

ok what easy boosts we can do to male golds?

uhm…i d take a wild guess and say islands? but not quite sure if theres a market for that anymore. maybe pvp islands but dunno how good you are.

edit: its just, whatever you do, you need to be good at what you re doing. very good. and have enough people if it requires a certain amount of people. we cant really recommend you something because we dont know you, your friend, or your skill cap. i d suggest to ask someone from those boosting communities, they probably know best.

Visions are a good one to boost but as you say you need to be very very good at it .

yeah thought about visions too at second thought but no idea how x amount of people affect scaling as i assume they want to boost together. maybe visions are easier with more people or more difficult…no idea, thats why i didnt want to bring it up. couldnt care less about visions.

You’re definitely going to be in the lower-paid and less-busy end of the pool, I’m afraid. I’m going only by what I see on Silvermoon and Draenor and in the market Discord.

No PvP chops? There is always activity in PvP ratings and side-achievements like the Tours of Duty and the Ashhide Mushan.

Visions are still very much alive.

I think BfA Levelling through Freehold is still alive.

Smoldering Ember Wyrm mount, but need a full party to guarantee a drop, IIRC. Maybe other achievement mounts? I know the rare finds are sellers, but you need a wide network for that.

Glory achievements. Is there something you can do in Legion, maybe? Lots of people won’t have those yet.

But please, please, whatever you go for, make sure you can deliver reliably before you start offering them! Apart from all the grief you can cause other people, you can certainly cause a lot for yourselves if people feel you have scammed them - even if that was not your intent.

Squirty cream on top with little chocolate flakes .

hah, squirty cream.

edit: oh, thats actually a thing. i thought you made that word up. :man_facepalming:

but yeah, sounds great, and choco syrup on top.

Nope. Just within the time limit. Then it is a guaranteed drop for ONE of your party. Should be very soloable now to be honest.

As for PAYING for ANY of the above.

Bwahaha. I’m not THAT desperate. Some are. Good for them. They’ll hand over gold to someone. Also good for them. I just fail to see the value in simply “buying” something on a video game, especially when i hear and read so many threads about “Oh the social part is dead…”

Well. Don’t hand over gold then and play with some friends…

“The mount has a 20% drop chance multiplied by the number of loot eligible players (even if they have the mount).”

But “The mount will only drop for someone who doesn’t have the mount.”

So if two people boost a third, the mount has a total 60% drop chance.

But if 4 people with the mount boost one person without, that one person without has a 100% chance at the mount.

There has been some confusion over how this drop works so we wanted to provide some details.

The mount has a 20% drop chance multiplied by the number of loot eligible players (even if they have the mount).
Note : The mount will only drop for someone who doesn’t have the mount.

For example:

  • 5 players who are not loot locked = there is a 100% chance for the mount to drop

  • 4 players who are not loot locked + 1 player who is loot locked = 80% drop chance.

  • 4 players who are not loot locked & have Nightbane mount + 1 not loot locked player without Nightbane mount = 100% chance the player without the Nightbane mount gets the mount

  • 4 players who are not loot locked & have Nightbane mount + 1 loot locked player without nightbane mount = 0% chance to get Nightbane mount (the only person who could get it is already loot locked)

  • 4 loot locked players + 1 not loot locked player, none of whom have the mount = 20% drop chance. The mount would only go to the non-loot locked player.

I never really looked into it’s full requirements to be honest so i doff my cap to you. To be brutally honest, hat looks slightly less confusing than the chore list the wife leaves me on a Sunday morning after I come in from work.

Chore lists can be completely incomprehensible … if you read them right. :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t know why she bothers, I come in, pet my dogs, put the tv on sit on my recliner for at least 3 hours. I ain’t doing that splaff after working 4 to 12.

“You gonna at least mow the lawn?!?”

Not at 12:30 in 100f Im not!
