Make honor tradeable - please like and comment

Hi All,
Hi Blizz,

Please make honor tradeable between our charachters.
Am completly capped on my mains and i have nothing on my alts.

Result, i ding 70 and the first 10 bg’s am worthless, only thing i do is run and die.
Meanwhile my mains are sitting on 15k honor with no place to go.

I wanted to go hpala since SoloQ needs more healers, but i can’t until a certain treshhold.
So we kinda all lose, i die 24/7 in bg’s, can’t Q for solo q, mains are capped.

if you agree please like and comment so we get some attention regarding this topic.
Have a good one all …

Medal of Honor is a random drop from victory chests(account bound consumable that grants 150 honor per piece), but at this point I would pay even 300 or more honor with my main to buy them and “trasnfer” it to my alts.

Agree. Nothing to do with all the honor on my main, alts are naked and useless in bgs.

i geared 6 toons and i won most bgs, yet i only found a single medal.

not really useful at all lol

I agree and disagree. I think there should be “some” element of grinding pvp gear but also shouldnt be just oneshot by everything in the bg.

Maybe allow transfere of ~4k honor so you can buy a few pieces and get the ilvl up.

You can’t one shot anything with honor gear in bgs, it’s a starter gear.
The grinding should be for conquest, there’s enough to grind in random/rated bgs /arenas for cap and vault honor cap.

But completely non geared toons in bgs are useless and let the team down, what to do if you just dinged your alt? And what to do with all the honor on main that keeps piling up? I have 8 alts, I’d gladly transfer the honor to buy them the full starter set.

I agree. Being undergeared in a BG is unpleasant both for the person with low gear, who gets focused by the enemy team and for their teammates, because they have one “useless” person on the team and are more likely to lose as such.

I see no reason why we could not transfer honor from our geared characters (who do not need it for anything) to our undergeared ones.

2 sides from me…
How to push actual newbie into PVP if all of our alt get gear even easier?

I agree, like i said in my actual post.
You ding 70, and ur useless for the next 10 or so bg’s, you spawn > die > repeat.

Just increase the honor and make it account wide. No idea why they didn’t make it account wide by now. Would only be good for pvp. No more undergeared people in random bg’s.

I think it’s almost perfect right now. I like the super fast progress more than no progress. It just sucks that you can’t do much with honor if you play bgs for fun.

I wish they would monetize honor again. A good way to earn some gold while pvping. Like in wrath when you could buy the epic gems or other specific mats in cataclysm. Honor after gearing now just seems useless. Wow marks and chaos chests, so interesting

Yes you can lol.

I wonder how many Brutal Gladiator’s Mutilators I bought while grinding Bloodthirsty

:no_entry_sign: Problem: Main is full geared and has too much Honor. Twink has no gear and no honor, must die through PvP to gear.

:bulb: Solution: Make those BoA-honor-tokens that give 150 honor buyable for 300 honor (conversion-rate should encourage to play with the twink as much as possible).

:no_entry_sign: Problem: New players don’t have that opportunity, they will get steamrolled by full-geared mains AND twinks, which now can “instantly” get full-geared.

:bulb: Solution: In PvP, scale ANY gear up to a comfortable level, so that it is not an instant loss (I see you, people queueing as healer with 90k hp).

:no_entry_sign: Problem: Any incentive to progress gear prior to honor gear is deactivated, people will get carried by that PvP-Upscaling, fully gear with PvP and use that for PvE. Crafted PvP-Gear (lower than honor gear) becomes unimportant.

:bulb: Solution: @ Gear level: The target item level for PvP-Upscaling must be lower than crafted PvP Gear, but comfortable enough to not be one-shotted. Crafte PvP Gear should be worthy, but optional - Crafted PvP Gear as an expected progression step is a bad idea, especially on low-populated servers and at the start of seasons/xPac (See what happened to the Horde at the start of DF).

:bulb: Solution: @ Incentive: There must be a minimum item-level, which gets upscaled for PvP, it should not be a completely free ride, since this is still an MMO.

:no_entry_sign: Problem: People will ignore those possibilities, and still ding 70 and queue as 90k HP healers for PvP, since their item level is so low, that it won’t upscale because of the aforementioned restriction. They may not care much about actually winning the BG, just (afk)leech for gear. But it’s very frustrating for their team.

:bulb: Solution: Allow PvP-queueing only with a minimum item level. As is already the case for Dungeon-Queuing. Obviously, these minimum item level must be ABOVE the item-level at which PvP-Upscaling begins. That minimum item-level should be EASILY reachable with basic Questing/WQs/WPvP/Normal Dungeons at level 70 and not take much time (below 3 hours gametime). Additionally, the game could do a better job of explaining all restrictions and possibilities to get gear, prior to queue for PvP.

Does anyone see any :no_entry_sign: problems left?

Yea those medals are kinds useless since you get so few of them. Make it at least so you can trade 300 honor for one medal. It’s not fun to join a BG and be completely useless leech

I think trading at a 50% loss (aka 300 honor to buy a 150 honor token) is a good model.

Your alt in max honor pvp gear is not going to be useless in battlegrounds, but you will also not dominate before you start learning your class and get that conquest gear. So I think the tradeoff is good.

When I see people with 250k or less health in BGs while I am sitting at 400k health, the kill feels almost wrong, like I am bullying someone just trying to get along.

The problem is, I see plenty of people full mythic gear 400+ itemlevel still getting instakilled.
And I think to have seen people with no pvp gear are scaled to 365 pvp item level which still isn’t enough to survive.
It’s more than just item level when it comes to pvp
