something that will remind us the scourge or something,undead mine that will be under the forsaken or scourge ,their is mine in hillsbard that look perfect for that,or put it in northrend

It seems upon joining the Horde and Alliance, the Forsaken and Night Elves lost their own ways of extracting gold from mines (haunting them with the plague and cultists for the Scourge, while the Night Elves infested them with nature, trees and wisps I think), while now they extract gold pretty much in the same way of their human and orcish allies. (with miners and peons)
Also the mines of Lordaeron are generally pretty empty of gold after all the wars the region suffered…I’m pretty sure nowadays the Forsaken do more gold from trading stuff they don’t need (like food) to the living rather than goldmining 
maybe Alterac is still quite rich in gold and minerals but the rest of Lordaeron pretty much has no natural resources avalaible anymore, which makes it even worse and impossible for the Alliance to try to get it back, because they would have to spend huge amounts of money just trying to cleanse and resettle Lordaeron for their people with no monetary gains because they would find basically no avalaible resources in Lordaeron anymore.
(and not only gold and minerals, pretty much there’s small amount of lumber too, as the trees and forests of Lordaeron are generally rotten now, except for the southern zones where the Scourge didn’t expand a lot like Arathi, Hillsbrad, Hinterlands)
