Hello, I would like to suggest to make the ICC Unholy and Blood Infusion quests soloable, because I find it next to impossible to find people willing to help you, even if you offer them 20k gold per person.
It’s painful to be stuck on them on 3 characters. During Unholy Infusion the abomination at Putricide has about 90k health regardless of your character’s level, gear or health and gets killed in a few seconds, when you need it to be alive long enough to eat slime for much longer than that. Blood Infusion has always been worse, because you need to be several people.
It’s been almost 14 years since ICC was released, I think it’s about time this is changed to soloable because it’s not relevant anymore. Every other legendary item in the game and their respective quests are soloable, why shouldn’t Shadowmourne?
Hi, if you need help i’d gladly help out. That being said why 3 characters? You’re trying to sell the items or you just wanted to try getting it on multiple characters and failed certain quests?
There are communities that are based on helping each other with legacy content. On the WoW achievement discord I sporadically see people looking for help with the Blood Infusion quest.
I remember trying to help someone do this some years ago and we were trying that thing were I would die and then reincarnate to count as twice. I couldn’t die though, even with res sickness.
I was lucky when I did it that I was still in a small friends and family guild and some of them came to help me. One of them got Invincible for the effort (they won the roll).
They could make it a bit easier at least, making it only need one other person. But I wouldn’t be opposed to soloable either at this stage.
i did solo it on multiple characters. not easy but doable , there’s a guide on youtube check blood infusion solo . but yes, it should be soloable and dont mind people who attack before reading your post lol they’re just like that
Unholy infusion you can argue should be soloable but blood is harder to justify because of the nature of the infusion and the original raid mechanic,
Who are you going to bite? Unless you count the belves standing before you get to her.
I had no problem getting Shadowmourne and helping others with blood and getting people to get bitten and kill themselves.
You just get two locks, get them to cast soulstone on themselves, and after you take a nibble they put on burning rush (assuming they haven’t nerfed it) and burn themselves to death running in circles in 15 seconds or so. You only need one to rez itself to get your third bite.
weird but ok. you basically bring 3 of your chars to BQL and then log off/bite/log off/bite repeat. i’ve done it but you need to keep an open client and disable addons to have quicker load screens .

I managed to solo those quests tho.
Dont even need an ssd
For unholy
unequip everything & equip only the axe
coat the stage with the green stuff
kill all the adds that spawn
once the boss is done throwing the green stuff everywhere pull the boss to the table & auto attack him to about 80%
click the table to turn into an abomination & go spam your nr 1 ability in the pools until you got 100 energy & use the infusion skill.
If timed right you can finish this entire thing before the boss enters the second phase, you can ignore the adds at this point as they wont deal enough damage to kill your abomination before the cast is done.
For blood
close all external programs, disable addons & resize the game window so your screen can fit 4 instances of the game.
log into the character with the axe, alt tab & launch wow & log in on another character, this will kick your axe character to the main screen.
(i recommend using characters that are strong enough not to get 1 shot by bosses, also i dont recommend dragons for this as they can use their abilities without weapons)
alt tab on that character & log in on a different character. Repeat till you have 4 game windows that reconnect to 4 different characters.
start a party with 1 of them, give the party a name thats fast to type.
log in on 1 of the 3 other alts, look for a custom group & ask to join the group you made on your alt.
log in on the party leader & accept the invite & then finally log back in on the other alt to accept the party. Now do this with the other 2 alts so that you have 4 “players” in the party.
take each of the characters to the blood queen 1 by 1 & park them in a neat line in the middle of the arena & strip the alts of all of their equipment.
pull the boss on the axe character & reconnect on 1 of your other characters, once character is loaded reconnect on your axe character & suck the blood off your alt.
Here’s a easy guide for the swapping order.
Axe - alt 1 - axe - alt2 - axe - alt3 - axe
after biting the last alt, nuke the boss & you’re done. Keep in mind that the boss will mind control your alts into fighting you so id keep an eye out for any of their more annoying skills.
