Make it easier to farm mogs

If it’s been 2 expansion already, there should be a way to make it easier for level 70’s to farm BFA dungeons/raids already .

I’m talking about level 70’s who don’t raid or M+, and have regular gear from heroic/normal dungeons. Not all of us raid or mythic +

I don’t want to suffer to get fashionable in a old raid with horrible flashy overwhelming mechanics.

Now you all have to suffer too :smiling_imp:

I actually agree, but it counts for shadowlands content as well since the raid difficulties are still switching between fated and non-fated from week to week, they need to remove fated from the game entirely.

Would be nice if legacy transmog were easier obtainable considering we pay money to play the game and we will only be able to use it for cosmetic purposes anyway.

They also need to fix the rolling loot table, because it really sucks and feels more punishing than rewarding

Opening raids/dungeons is far more than transmogs. Transmogs actually the least important part imo. It’s not like the game have lack of gear to get mogs from.

First come experience the content, then we have achievements, pets, mounts, gold, quests and whatnot. > actual game progress.
While yes I would count transmogs as game progress, but people will already disagree on the other points and proposing transmogs is progress is quite into the far fetched OCD that many of us have.

Therefor, among reasons. I always found it reasonable that previous expansion retain it’s “difficulty”. While yes, BFA should now be quite the cakewalk. Not completely walkover though.

Also I’m more worried about warfronts and similar content.

I get what you’re saying and i know it makes sense to retain the difficulty, however theres still no point in making it so painful to farm. Now i get there should be some sort of effort required to get the sets, but they could easily make the bosses drop more frequent loot and have systems that lets the game know, if you keep rolling low numbers for gear, then it will automatically make you roll high the next time an item drops and you win the piece of loot.

I have no issue spending weeks farming a transmog set, but spending months is where i have to say that its way too much and not helping the game or making the game better in any way for anyone, but the opposite. It’s like they made the loot system in dragonflight/shadowlands to make people as mad as possible and i don’t see how it would make the game worse, if we players just got more loot in general. Just more loot drops.

No one should feel like they’re sacrificing and wasting precious time to get cosmetics in a video game, they should feel like it’s worth wasting their time, by knowing the item/gear will drop soon because of systems that COULD know you already wasted your time and then reward you based off that. But we don’t. We have toxic people rolling for loot they don’t need making other people toxic, proceeding by going to the forums and spread even more toxicity.

If anyone thinks wow is saved because of dragonflight they’re deadly wrong.
There’s so many things wrong with this game and all of you old hardcore players have just been accepting all the degenerate stuff in the game for far too long or never even thought about it was ruining your lives.

I just wrote a whole book page on a video game forum… what am i doing with my life

If we look at SL and assume that’s what the devs want to do with old raids (BFA was an exception due to how powerful gear was), then it should look something like this:

  • 1 expansion later the raids are still mostly impossible to solo.
  • 2 expansions later they start changing mechanics to allow players to solo bosses. Generally still requires having good gear.
  • 3 expansions later is the point where even soloing mythic should be mostly trivial.

Legion was even stronger. I remember having around 980 ilvl on my main (BIS titanforged gear pretty much), and I could solo Archimonde and Mannoroth Mythic for the mount on my 960-965 ilvl toons easily with brains being off. And that was the last expansion’s endboss and endraid. Not to mention how trivial it was to solo Mythic Blackhand.

I personally miss this kind of way. I was very much looking forward to soloing BFA mythic raids, especially BOD for that sweet mythic plate set on my characters, but boy was I wrong. Gotta wait 2 more years it seems. Or atleast 1 more, until we get season 3 / 4.

This is exactly what “we” have been wanting for years. It is so much needed, but DF/SL have it very obvious actiblizz is on the complete opposite path. The acti part is definitely a hard blame there, with just blizz at least there was hope and almost a direct response.

Think they said something about it in WOD, far from approval or endorsement, but acknowledgement that something along the lines of it could be a solution to a thing complained on. IOW, they asked for more feedback from players on it.

I found it strange as players were barely able to comprehend the thought of it and didn’t think much longer than RNG sucks, Fix plx. if even that. Failing to understand that very same system could be broadly applied, and that’s where the resistance begin as many players enjoy severe luck and find that something like loot roll returns were a threat to their “luck/effort prestige” or whatever to call it. I actually fall a little into this category as well as I fear content would quickly be depleted with high playtime available, which just ad more negativity to the cause from all those that wouldn’t have the same time available and would then have both ther luck/effort severely struck upon.

Sorry bad writing. Yeah I’m constantly telling myself don’t put to much effort into posts as it’s very much wasted on trolls and the like.

Rough sentence mon. I was really ready to give you a <3 then I saw that. Meeh, am sure you got a good point with it. Just know that not all the old hardcores accept the degenerate stuff, far from. I wouldn’t promote the game to my worst enemy…

many more words

Plus BFA does not yet have legacy loot

transmog farming is my favorite thing to do in wow as i dont M+ and raid.

so there is a few stuff in-game that makes me happy, among them is roleplay and transmog farming

I agree. It was pretty close to this pre-BFA borked scaling.
How it should work (and did in WoD and Legion) was you could solo dungeons from previous expansion to do Glory achievements and Raid from two expansions back for similar achievements. This seems fair to me. You wait two years to solo dungeons and four years to solo raids.

In SL I went to solo Freehold when I dinged 60 and the first trash pack destroyed me utterly in seconds.
Later when I had ZM gear I could solo it ok but that was quite a wait.

Well, BFA scales up to level 60 now, so it’s pretty much as if Shadowlands never happened, and BFA is still considered the previous expansion. Best case scenario, we can hope that it’ll happen in the next expansion.

Most likely, Kul Tiras and Zandalar is considered the base game and standard levelling experience for new players, with Chromie Time being the alternative.

This seems too long to wait in my view.
I think 1 expansion ago Raids should be tough and require a small group (not a full raid but maybe five palyers) for Raids but dungeons should be soloable.
2 Expansions ago Raids should be fully soloable. This is a four year wait.

Bumping this, get the disgusting neckbeards out of the game and make the game easy. All the angry neckbeards can then quit because the game is too easy and we can all have a great time, because neckbeards ruin the game and nobody likes them except blizzards wallet.
