Make it possible for twinks to join pvp

The very notion of twinking is based upon unequal battles.

It’s why people stop, because at certain brackets certain classes are OP because they have their major tools, whilst others don’t. Not all classes balance out into their potential at the same rate.

So the idea a twink is interested in fair fighting is laughable. There’s a reason they hang out in brackets where people lack the entirety of their pvp defensive kits etc. So they can spam their buttons on targets that can’t run away.

Do you actually know someone that stopped playing WoW cause they got killed in a BG?

I havent heard of anyone. I dont know anyone - though ive seen threads about people “wanting” to quit because someone else used time to get gear and they themself did not.

Why join a BG if you are afraid of getting killed?
Why do you want others being bad? - cause you just want to hit max level fast and leech off exp ?
Who are you to say how this game needs to be played?

I am interested in playing in whatever bracket i choose and gear up in whatever bracket i choose. Without being left out cause i use time to gear up.
Trying something Different.
Too bad there is not enough twinks to fill up a BG - But thats how it is now.
But thats not twinks fault - Thats people who wants to rush to max level with minimum effort. Fairness is not something you ask for in PVP.
Suck it up if u get spunked

No, I never claimed that happens though did I?

I nevver claimed there was anything wrong with wanting to fight and kill people in a BG either.

I’m challenging the idea that twinking isn’t about engaging in one-sided combat, because the whole point of stopping levelling at certain points is to avoid the pvp meta that appears in higher tiers due to spells/talents being available. Certain classes are weaker in certain brackets are their kit isn’t filled out.

I never said there was anything wrong with that. I simply said people who convince themselves they twink to “pursue a fair fighting experience” are kidding themselves. The population of twinks is small. Anyone who twinks knows a vast proportion of their opponents will be “fresh meat”.

Just be honest about it is all i’m saying. I haven’t said it makes one a scummy person. But trying to defend the playstyle by painting it as some kind of noble alternative pvp for minds in pursuit of a genuine pvp experience is bizarre. Twinking has been, and always will be about stomping on other players for a majority of the time.

Where do i write that im into fair pvp?

And yes PVP in all brackets should not be limited because you outgear your opponents. Thats how the game works. The better gear you got. The more spanking you can do.

If i am not clear and not honest you really need to ask me what is unclear and not just argue randomly.

The only bracket with Legendary and Tier effects is 101-115. Ergo Legion start and legion lego end.

ALL other brackets have no Legendary effects OR Tier sets as they are Legacy and as such have their effects removed/disabled.

Tier items has been a thing since level 60 - even leveling up a fresh now offers tier items from dungeon bags that you get for completing a dungeon.

I am also saying reintroduce/reenabling/dont disable tier items/legendary items - Atleast what i also meant

Not going to happen because abilities change and old effects can easily turn into something OP. The reason why they were disabled in the first place.

I know
And still i personally want it to be something that stays active

So it gets OP then what? people find out - tries it out - haves fun - Then come the QQ hammer and removes every fun part of that?
And for what reason? Because people use more time in lower brackets than in the activision endgame fun?

I see a forced way to play - If anything else it´s “fun” it gets removed/nerfed to the ground.

First off: Its about potentially being OP at max level. Secondly: The game being end game focused has been a thing even before activision so you can forget that thought.

Read above.

Wrong again.
There was a HUGE twink community.
People actually liked to play something different than what was offered endgame in any current expansion,

People raged when blizzard first began to go down on twinks - since then its been going downhill - To where it is right now - almost non existent

There was a HUGE twink community, till they couldn’t roflstomp newbies.

Just because there was a huge community (emphasis on was) it doesnt mean that they willingly catered to twinks or didnt focus on endgame. So no im not “wrong again” as you claim it (not to mention i wasnt even wrong in the first place). The game has been endgame focused ever since TBC.

Low level stuff (pvp especially) always has been the least of their concerns and they always stated that. They said they know twinks exist but they couldnt care less.

would be fun if the devs could re-create an environment like twinks had in the past, so events like this(link) could become a thing again
(notice bigmoran getting juked off gy for good lols)
the good old days.
We (EU) would reactive our US accounts to compete in these premade vs premade tournaments, again!
sadly those days seems long gone, and no comeback in sight.

ohwell, waves in EU

Yeah there was such a “HUGE” twink community, they couldn’t even find 20 people to do bg’s with. Or, and what is really the case, they weren’t really interested in fighting other twinks afterall.

Scaling/Resilience/removed lego abilities/removed tier bonuses - whatever Blizzard do to nerf everything in lower brackets so people just move on to do endgame content is good if you as a game developer wants to show your investors that your current expansion is where people “Wants” to be.

But that for me is just them forcing a specific playstyle and where you need to be.
I feel like a parrot being placed on my stick.
The cards have been dealt and you WILL LIKE CURRENT CONTENT

Sorry but no. It may be a barrel of laughs for you, but not fun for others.

Scaling would infact be a favour to low levels but hey, whatever. Resilience removal was done because of endgame, not because of twinks. Lego/tier removal was also done because of end game.

As has been the case since TBC.

Then quit.

Also just because the twink community was huge it was still a minority group even back then.

so… like multiboxing?

You can read my thoughts on multiboxing in this thread.

No I don’t think all multiboxing is okay.

Cool video ^^
