One shotting everyone using program?

Hi
I don’t know it’s called botting or multiboxing but I am seeing someone in the map one shotting me and other players with low ilvl like 400k HP while he is using a kind of AI/botting program that is controlling others 7 character Based on the main Character that is actually being played .this is completely meaningless since 7 of those characters are literally AI/bots and this is not fair. and I don’t know if its allowed in the game and if it is I don’t know what to say…

It’s called mulit-boxing.
it’s allowed, but it really shouldn’t be.

If you see one just leave. It’s the only way to win.

Or gathering. Farming for anything in general, actually.

Doesn’t killing the “main” one leave the others without input though? If you can tunnel them down quickly and use immunities to cheese their damage whilst doing so they essentially turn into free HKs en masse if this is correct.
Or is it possible to “swap” which one is a main at any point?

Not if they know what they are doing.

If my main dies it’s an instant swap to the next by clicking on the next window.

Just because it’s allowed, doesn’t mean it’s fine. That’s a very weak argument.

You can find a lot of examples of highly immoral actions that where tolerated in the past because they where legal and lawful. You can even look at the present for that if you want.

Linking ToS doesn’t make multiboxing any less unfair.

Exactly! If you have enough money to buy 5+ accounts AND pay ×5 monthly subs, why not just buy a token and sell it?

I enjoy boxing, it’s not about the gold for me. I pay my subs and have a lot of fun.

but Alt-Tabbing is not the same as using 3rd party software to copy all actions, i think everything goes here, being able to alt tab to different account is not banned, but software that is literally copying input should be banned. So let Multiboxers mutibox as long as they are able to alt-tab their alts, and remove any automation from input and it will be compromise.

I play 3 mostly.

I play 5 for timewalking stuff or to level alts quickly. No queues, and if I need to go afk for an emergency I’m not getting kicked.

I have been doing this since TBC, it’s an optional way to play which I enjoy… it’s a hobby. It can also be a challenge. Boxing visions is fun.

I have no idea. I don’t own 5 wow accounts, thus can’t multibox to attempt, and see if I actually could :man_shrugging:
