Can we get a facelift for this content please? I get that the new shiny baby is delves, but M+ could use some love too. Disclaimer: 2.8k rsham, playing rsham since TBC (whatever that means to you) so, obviously biased opinion.
What do I want?

A prettier interface. You are a multimillion dollar company and I have to get a bunch of addons to play your game effectively because your UI is garbage and ugly. This is unacceptable. It doesn’t tell me what I need to know, it’s ugly, clunky and the ux design looks like it was done by somebody’s kid. Give me blizzard made weakauras that I can use myself with point and click functionality; current UI adaptations is a babystep in the right direction, but it lacks any sort of granularity, which is awful. Let me put the buffs/debuffs I want to track individually in places where I want to see them. Let me make custom warnings, timers and announcements. If you’re going to make your game so complicated that I need additional tools to play it, at least give me the tools yourself.

Stop making me rely on external tools so much. Your game does not teach me how to play it; youtube, wowhead, reddit and other sources do. This is unacceptable. There is no way for me to learn how to play your game unless I have to read or watch some masterclass video on how to play. A very small number of nerds have to figure it out through painstaking trial and error so the rest of us peasants have a chance at playing your game decently. This is not okay. The game has no internal metrics for improvement, no feedback that you’re doing well or poorly. You have so many metrics and statistics on what players are doing, why not feed those to the community? Are you doing enough kicks, are you dying too much, are you moving too much? Who knows? Better record myself and analyze it so that maybe I can get an idea… if only the data I need already existed. Guess I better go to raidbots to sim my gear, raiderio to see how well i’m doing globally, wowhead to check my bis trinkets and then youtube to see the best route for GB12. Great game design, what can I say? Oh, not to mention I had to see a reel with SoB 2nd boss tech to know it needs to be slowed to not jump around (should have read the journal, but why? it’s so bad, so much text, wtf? at least put videos there ffs). Want to look for a group? Imagine you want a group that doesn’t have a ret paladin, because you are already a ret paladin; good luck without PremadeGroupFinder.

Stop gatekeeping everything. I get it, it’s a live service game, you want your subs. I’m not a business person, I don’t have your data, I just really hate waiting to play your content because of some silly complainers. Every new expansion should just launch with everything already available (especially m+ cause that is the topic). Why should we wait for the raid just so RWF is a thing? Let them do it in their own time; hell, make a tournament realm so you stop pumping billions of gold into the economy every season, maybe reduce some of that inflation? Why do we have to suffer for 2-3 weeks after launch because of some competitive event that is not even an official part of the game? Same for mythic plus. Why gatekeep this content? So people won’t feel like they have to rush? Why is it your job to babysit how much people play your game? Why do people with more time have to be punished because of people with less time? If there are so many people who would be left behind, then they can obviously play with each other. Same for story; why release chapters weekly? This is just silly; let me finish the wholes story you prepared and be done with it. I do it in the course of a sub month anyway, so why gatekeep it? Makes no sense. Your game should feel like a theme park the moment it launches; stop forcing me to go on the kiddie rides before I go on the hardcore stuff. This is not fun and just feels like you’re forcing me to sub another month to do the content I enjoy. It’s shallow and transparent.

Stop punishing me for wanting to nolife your content. If you put crests in the game and different gear progression systems and all this stuff, let me grind it and have the best ever gear in week 1 if I play 24/7. You don’t need catchup gear because if I can get max gear in week 1, then someone can also get max gear in week 7. Getting the best gear should only be the first step to doing higher end content. Gear is completely irrelevant in the game right now as it is, and largely serves as a chore you have to do before doing more challenging content, where the meat of the game actually is; you have made your content such that gear will only get you passed the threshold but you have to walk in the door of success with your skill alone. At least let me grind it out efficiently.
If I want to do m0 all day, let me just do it infinitely. If I want to do boss 1 of the raid 100 times in a day for loot, just let me; oh, I get my bis item and now I definitely won’t play anymore → doesn’t matter that I already played 50 hours for that bis item, definitely won’t want to play more. I’ll do it on multiple characters, it’s way more fun if I can repeat it whenever I want. If I want to push m+ stop making it so punishing to fail; I don’t get to play, I just grind the looking for group tool because failing a key is so punishing, everyone has to become a risk assessment specialist to be able to invite people who won’t just brick their key on the first pull. Stop reducing the key by a level; the risk of failure is so high, just trying is risk nightmare. If just trying to play a part of your game involves advanced game theory models and risk assessment, something has gone terribly wrong. People should not be afraid to play your content. That is not a good sign.
