Right now every race has only two voices (male and female). We have rich visual customization but zero audial customization.
I’d really love to have more voices. Some NPC voices in the game are so sweet, I want to have one. I’m more ear person than eye person, so that’s important for me.

Hmm… Idk.
Think new dances and new emotes are way before you in the line. Before we have new voice options.
We’re still waiting for that dance studio from Wotlk to happen.

They actually removed the badass DK voices too, which is sad. That was a really cool little touch when I played my DK.

Definitely not my first post haha. I change character usually to whichever I feel like having at the time, but I regularly post on my warlocks and hunters.

I completely forgot about that but I think FF14 has that…? Anyway, I enjoyed that in another game, picking a voice I thought the character fit well. It’s nice to have those details that make every character a bit more unique

I agree. My two Earthen look very different from each other, but have the exact same voice. It would be nice to have a second option, but then again, maybe having the same voice fits Earthen after all.
But yeah, having maybe a second voice option (not too different from the original one) could be nice.

FF has grunt sounds, wouldn’t call them voice lines.
It’s been a while, and I’ve dabbled here and there in other mmo’s. I was uncertain to begin with whether it was FF14 but in that case it probably was another game I meant lol.
No, you’re right. When you make a new character you have 6 or 7 voices to choose from but your charcter never speaks so its mainly changing of the tone of how you moan while taking dmg or do doing an action.
Its mainly a Eastern gaming thing, most Japanese games with a character customization has optional voices but again it’s mainly grunting/moaning. Monster hunter is a big example of that.
Wow doesn’t really have voice line either other than “I cant hold anymore of that”, I can’t do that" or certain emotes.
Pls use wow terms (body type 1 and body type 2),otherwise u could be reported, thanks.

That’s so true! Lol. I was happy I could pick one that didn’t make me cringe too hard there, some options were painful
I guess I often enough try to do stuff that I can’t yet, because I am regularly reminded of it. In a way it’d be great if voices mattered more tho, I fully get your point that right now the usefulness of a feature like that would be very limited.
for a catgirl that has melee jobs or whatever best i could pick is voice 12
one that goes NYAH but i hear it as a NYAGH
not just for in combat grunting tho the /laugh for voice 12 seemed decent
same with /no or /chuckle

So you say you want more politically correct voices, and that just male and female are not enough, so i assume you mean some weird nonbinary indeterminate voices.
PC stands for playable characters. Characters which are not NPC.

i’d rather have less bugs ingame and a server that doesn’t have an aneurysm each and every time theater starts or starts convulsing for no apparent reasons.

I don’t think that actors, who record voices, can fix bugs. Hopefully we can have both.
Id rather see new weapon / spell animations before I see voices. Should be able to pick different wield/caster styles…
Edit: before you go “thats too complicated”,just let use choose from how the different races hold their weapons. I.e a undead holding their weapon like a Kul Tiran or a Tauren holding its staff like a Dwarf etc

The only way I see this happening is if they create the voices using AI.
