PVP Gearing
PVP Gearing now has 3 sets, Aspirant, Honor and Gladiator.
For the purpose of this, i will use the modern day item levels
Aspirant Set
- Free to purchase from the Aspirant Vendor
- Has zero Purchase or Sell Cost
- 626 PVP Item level (0 pve gear level)
- Cannot be enchanted
- Cannot be disenchanted
- Cannot be PVE upgraded
Honor Set
- Purchase from the honor vendor
- Cost Honor same as currently does
- Has 631 PVP item level (+5 on the Aspirant Gear)
- Cannot be enchanted
Conquest Set
- 636 PVP item level (+5 on the honor gear)
- Purchase from the Conquest Vendor
- Purchased from a PVP Token. Every Item besides 2h weapon cost 1 Token, with these costing 2. Two token is given per week from completing either
- 10 Rated Arena Wins
- 10 Rated Solo Shuffle Round Wins
- 1 BG Blitz or Rated Battleground
- Winning 10 Unrated Battlegrounds
- Completing the Spark Quest
This mean 2 Items per week with various means to get this.
- Items cannot be enchanted
- Items cannot be changed in Tier Sets
PVP Items
- All enchants are now disabled in PVP
- All Item effects such as Set Bonus, Crafted bonus’s or any other non-class related effect are now disabled.
Racial
- Racial bonus’s and abilities can no longer active in any type of PVE including having War Mode active.
Crowd Control
- Diminishing Return reset window has increased from 18 seconds to 26 seconds
- Immunity Crowd Control have been removed the game, Cyclone is now a magic effect and works the same as Fear, Detainment and Diamond Trap has been removed.
Dampening
- Dampening has been redesigned.
- Dampening will ramp up at the same % it currently does
- Dampening now has a scaling effect, with Dampening effectiveness is increased when teams are at lower health.
75-100% are not effected by Dampening
50-75% are effected by 33% of the dampening level
25-50% are effected by 66% of the dampening level
0-25% are effected by 100% of the dampening level
Solo Shuffle
- Solo Shuffle is now 4 rounds, reduced from 6
- Solo Shuffle will now que 1 melee, 1 range, 1 healer vs 1 melee, 1, range, 1 healer
- You will never be able get 3 x melee or 3 x caster lobbies
- Tank will always take the place of Melee and there will always be at least 2 tanks
- Protection Paladin are no longer considered healers and placed into normal lobbies
Match Making Rating
- MMR has been removed
- Match Making is now done via the player rank, similar to Rated Warzone.
- Upon reaching a new rank, you will 2 loss protection, meaning you will not lose any rating for your first 2 losses within a new rank
- You will be match against everybody within the rank, meaning you will not beable to ascend to the next rank without a position with ratio within that rank.

- Rival 1600-1999
- Duelist 2000-2399
- Elite 2400-2999
- Gladiator 3001
Battleground
- Teleportation spells can no longer be used whilst carry a flag or orb
- Immunity spells including abilities such as Burrow can no longer be used whilst carrying a flag or orb
- Movement speed is now limited to 100% when carrying an Orb or Flag, however the carrier can also not be slowed below 100%
