What title pretty much says, certain rares are overfarmed and people attempt to reset the rare with taunts. The tech already exists for quest NPCs and open world bosses, expand it to rares please

They should just make it so you can’t taunt mobs tagged by someone else.
Agree, I am selfish and taunting every single rare to reset because I can yoink it

And make em shared tag/personal loot? Absolutely. The technology for that already exists, they just need to make it happen.
The bigger issue and the root cause here is not the tag system itself but overpopulation. There is simply way, way, way too many players per layer per zone on realms like Firemaw and Gehennas. The number needs to be cut ~5 times at the very least.
We need considerably more layers. This will solve the rare problem, as well as like 10 other problems
