They aren’t really that good and they haven’t been played in a RWF raid in years. Why not just make them like Aug Evoker. Bardadin let’s go

Ret is one of the most played specs in game. You’re advocating taking away a spec hundreds of thousands of people main because of a made up race that lasts a week and involves about 50 people?

Support classes just makes the entire system messier than it already is.
Look at the joy of spec options for m+ now after they added one.

Hell no! Keep them as dps and either add a new support spec to paladin or don’t bother. If your wanting support specs add new specs don’t remove specs people enjoy. How about make all 3 rogue specs into support?

Therefore ret is already a support spec
I would welcome some ST buffs but other then that ret paladin right now is awesome…

Add a suuport spec rather than remove the only dps spec from Paladin.

He is fine and nobody need support speccs, they don’t work,ook at augment evoker.
Paladin back in classic had nearly support -with the different seals they coud cast , the afe just their to buff the raid constantly but Blizzard changed that for good (abd since the seal’s aren’t a thing anymore since…MoP(?))
The class I used in the example isn’t relevant it’s was more just saying how about we take your favourite spec instead and basically remove it
why tho, ret probably fits the class fantasy the most. Paladins basically are just priests wich took up arms to fight instead of just healing. If you want a mostly support paladin then priest is the class fantasy you want

How dillusional are you?
Paladin is meant to be “just good enough” on every spec because it can play every role in the game. We Paladins don’t need to be the best class.

If Ret paladin is the standard for removal then all these specs need to go too and become supports.
So in M plus that would be Prot Warrior, Resto Shaman, Holy Priest, Frost Mage, Ele Shaman, MM Hunt, Destro Warlock, Affli Warlock, WW Monk, UH DK, Frost DK, Feral Druid, Surv Hunter, Sub Rogue.
And raid
they reworked ret in s1 and it already feels dated with the auto attack build… i mean … we’re in 2023 and there’s an auto attack build in this game. just make it a support class tbh.
