We just got a legendary bow for Hunters in 9.1 with Sylvanas
If Anduin is part of the next raid tier, I would love to see a legendary sword (especially for my paladin).
Shalamayne qualifies as both a 2H and a Dual-Wield weapon. Also unlikely Anduin would hand the sword over. And hes most certainly not going to die even if he would become a boss in the next raid as him being an old man is canon.

Yea, I know he got plot armor, but retcons happen frequently, or they could say it was a N’zoth vision or some other stuff.
And I thought maybe it could be like a Doomhammer situation, where he doesn’t want to use it anymore given what he was made to do with it.
Also, Sylvanas wasn’t “killed”, but we still yoinked her bow, so idk

One of her bows. Rae’shalare is the one shes using now. Or was. Before that she was using a Sunstriders Longbow that belonged to Dath’Remar Sunstrider and a bow called “Deathwhisper”. She was also using other Bows in the past.
None of them can be compared to the iconic Shalamayne given Shalamaynes unique way of forging in the first place through both Varians merging (and their respective weapons) into Varian and Shalamayne. Varian also never parted with it until his death unlike Sylvanas who appears to change her weapons like underwear.
Shalamayne appears to have a mind of its own however and decides who it founds worthy of wielding it. If it however can be restored given its current form as Kingsmourne is questionable however.

That is most certainly going to happen. And its going to be the same way as now with a reagent upping the rank by 3 to 4.
The weapon was intended to be an epic but because of the effect they decided to make it legendary. It wont receive the same treatment as our legendary pieces. Not to mention it would force Hunters (and hunters alone) to go back to Sanctum of Domination in the next patch to obtain it if one hasnt or rerolled or started playing etc. That wont happen.
As for the level 60 boost: /shrug.
Anyway im done discussing the legendary bow in this matter as the thread is about Shalamayne.

I don’t know what bow she was using in Shadowlands, but it wasn’t the same one as the one she used in BFA. I liked the BFA one more.
