I think we need more tank diversity so a hunter with pet would be a great to i.prove diversity and aproach to tanking

Absolutely not!

It is, quite literally, the most fun i ever had with any class.
Melee attacks, poison damage, explosives, a chain to pull ourselves, traps, a cool pet, stuns and silences.
This is a headhunter. Its no protector, its a killer!

I would agree however on a fourth spec to be tank.

Druids are disappointing (imagine your whole class being CAT. You are the “cat” class.) mages are boring, warlocks can’t move and rogues hit like a wet noodle. SV hunter is quite literally the best class in the game for people who want both melee and ranged.

Stop bullying Survival please. Its the reason i even got to WoW x)

If anything, i would argue for BM to be tank. Makes sense with all the pets.

Lets settle for mm then, makes no sense but no way i am giving up my spec either😂

I would love to see it honestly. Splitting damage taken between two healthpools could be a cool tanking mechanic. However, pet AI is far from reliable enough to be the aggro holder. It would have to be the pet helping mitigate the damage the hunter takes.

SV Hunter is my favorite DPS spec in the game. I’d hate this idea. :sweat_smile:

I don’t get why it’s so hard for people just to let us “SV Hunter enjoyers” play in peace, without always wanting to change it into just another “bow and arrow hunter”, or another role like a tank.

If people hate “melee hunters” (which let’s be honest, SV hunter isn’t), then stick to MM or BM. :slight_smile:
