Try the same on different classes? As Grovi said the experience for certain casters is very different from melee. If fun is what youâre looking for, then give it a spin.
Alternatively make your own fun if thatâs what itâs about. E.g run them at a lower ilevel. Run with 100 corruption or more. Run with an hierloom weapon equipped. Blizzard simply adding more hp and damage to the mob wonât make it fun. Invent your own handicaps and run with them and every time you complete one, add another. If fun is what it is about, this is the way forward rather than relying on blizzard to somehow make it fun by turning mobs into HP spongues.
I got few other classes but yeah, its not really challenging on them either.

I think it does, i do get loot on the non-mask, but its only 420

Loot drops from each loot tier once per week. If you run a 5 mask you get a 470. Now you have the 470 so you cant get it again until next week.
If you run a 4 or a 5 mask after that, you get a 465.
Then a 5, 4, or 3 mask after that will give a 460.
Etc etc etc.

It was an âeventâ made for the cloak upgrade. They could just tied the upgrade to the weekly assault chests and bum.
Its also reward 470 i lvl gear with fix corrupt now.
Its easy now since that was the purpose from the begginingâŚ
Well mementos are still valuable for sockets etc, so if its no more hassle to you you should do the highest mask number youâre comfortable full clearing (Chests + crystals) as many times as you can, then any higher difficulty once for loot.
I personally do only 5 mask runs, but on alts or lesser geared characters I would probably do a 5, a 4, and then spam 3s. as an example.
I rather have visions removed. Severely imbalanced and just unfun content. Even PvP is more balanced than this.

Sure they will. Visions were incredibly fun at the beginning of 8.3 when I could always push myself and see how much I could get done that run.
The idea to just add more hp and dmg might not do it entirely though and I really wish they would add new masks with new effects to handle or that maybe would add some new enemies and new bosses.
Personally I think it was partly that, and partly them being completely unknown as far as interactions and design goes. It took a month to figure out how the potions work.
As I said above, the content just feels like itâs offered all it has to offer, outside of adding completely new zones.
True. Exploring them was indeed a big part of it. Really love that we have interactions such as the toy maker rare, where you can put down a toy train to easily kill him.
I wish we would have gotten visions earlier in bfa and had content added to it with each patch. They did make me opitimistic about Thorghast in Shadowlands though. If they expand Vision to an endless roguelike design it sounds incredibly fun.
It has not much to do with gear, woth your 459ilvl u should be able to complete 5 masks without much trouble.
I dont do that often, but i have to agree with bukachu that hardest possible masks runs are still quite easy, even with worst affixes combination. But i doubt they will do anything about themâŚ
I think the major issue with them is the cloak progression and mother tree. The external systems that chug along regardless of gear progression were designed to trivialise whatever you did the week before. Not to mention the design of things like gift of the titans actively incentivising you to play around ignoring mechanics
