Make WoW Metal again

What does this have to do with gender ?

Right, you’re just not paying attention to the conversation at all. Any last words before I block you?

Metal is for edgy teens and outcasts. Sorry.
Real men listen to opera.

No, that would be too Disney (Gizmoduck) for this metal game \m/

Nothing constructive to say. I should expect as much.
You get my favourite gif to represent blocking people: https://imgur.com/a/SOIzTPY

And blocked.

No need to apologize. I have often enough misunderstandings with other users.

After all, by facts we are communicating here with 1% available information (roughly 10% of our entire communication is voice based, the remaining 90% are body language - both not accessible here in text form).

It is a miracle in itself, that people get along so well on a forum here on the internet without constant use of emojis to visually express their tonality or feelings.

Imagine us humans talking on a digital forum like the Elcor from Mass Effect

Theres always rock opera!

I frequently use XD, =D, D=, =O.
XD gets overused sometimes and it annoys me, but I try to at least make some show of when I’m joking… though I sometimes forget, which doesn’t help.

But with the increase of right wing thinking on the internet. It’s getting harder and harder to notice whenever anyone is genuinely well meaning or unsure. Because so often people are malicious or trolling.

Which would be considered weak when compaired to Klingon Opera, surely! XD

good times

I followed this thread because it initially struck a chord with me.

Whilst I like balance, I’m not frightened of change, I acknowledge other views than mine exist (and are equally valid to whomever has them), and I want there to be something for everyone, I think the balance has tipped too far towards cute and touchy feely for me personally, and I’d like there to be more death of Tirion Fordring and less Lady Moonberry. Others will disagree. That’s fine.

But the thread has gone beyond flogging a dead horse. It’s like watching a scientist argue with an artist, or a QA professional argue with a marketing executive.

But will you not agree that that is a direct consequence of tipping the scale too much to the other side in Shadowlands?

There is balance; it’s just on a grander scale.

It comes down to the next expansion to bring back balance within an expansion itself; so there’s something for everyone.

I would really not want to go to a system of ‘dark and heavy expansion’ → ‘light and whimsical expansion’.

I want both themes in each expansion. I don’t think I can take another 2 years of something like Shadowlands.

Much as I dislike Shadowlands. It did have a good mix.
It had lady moonberry and it also had Draka, who was totally badass.

Why not both?

I don’t disagree, but TO ME PERSONALLY, overall I thought Shadowlands was more gloomy than badass. And the zones were all kind of polarising for me. The bright lands of Bastion contrasting with the gothic lands of Revendreth. The barren warlike lands of Maldraxxas contrasting with the cute and verdant lands of Ardenweald. Oribos was instantly forgettable and the Maw seemed depressing.

So yeah, maybe they compensated. Maybe they tried to follow trends (good or bad) in society, I don’t know. In another post, I said I loved Dragonflight, and that’s true. I still want more badass though.

They are outcast only because one must be gifted beyond an ordinary human to compose and play Metal music.

Gifted people are often outcast. Do they seek the Metal or does the Metal seek them?
