Making a new Draenei

So I thought about making a draenei alt for once. RP wise which class would you pick for it? I am torn between shaman and priest.

My lightforged draenei rogue is named Neoni

I don’t think Draenei are the kind of race going all stealth.

Hence the name

Paladinnnnnnn of course

I do like the Shaman class.

I have a Light Forged Draenei that is a priest but I just can’t get on with that class. It’s my least played alt.

If you do a Draenei, play through Azuremyst and Bloodmyst. Great zones. the forest on Azuremyst still feels more like a forest than most newer wooden zones, even Ardenweald.

Aldori Anchorite, or a Shattari Vindicator, then if you want to go fel, I’d say Arms Warrior with a suitable armor set, I’d say the Blue Onslaught revamp set from Legion PvP transmog with a Fel-infused axe, blue & green with green eyes and dark blue/grey skin, if not even red skin.

My Tauren rogue is called Hooves McGee.

Oh man as a Draenei fanboi, such topic i get very passionate about .

Paladins and Priests are like the most connecting classes to Draenei. Cauz Draenei are just huge followers of Light.
Even our Racial is Light based, and our Allied race aswell.

But they are also very wise, one of the oldest if not oldest races in WC universe, they make also very powerful Mages.

And it’s no secrets as agents of the Legion, Warlock class is also quite connecting to the Draenei (or in this case Man’ari if you want). Now that Blizz allowed us to create character with green eyes and red skin, you can create literal Man’ari (Eredar, who took the Sargeras power).

So ye, if i should grade top 3, it would be:

  1. Paladins
  2. Priests
  3. Warlocks

Followed with Mage as 4th.

The reason i don’t mention Shaman (despite Nobundo existing), is because any race can be Shaman. Elements don’t care about what race you are. They don’t choose based on that, but rather about you specificaly, your persona, your connection to the nature, to the elements.
It’s a shame Night Elves still cannot be Shamans…

It depends from what sort of vibe do you want to feel. Paladins and priests are the baseline of a kind, but they aren’t the only option. A shaman, for one, can make for interesting priority conflicts between worshipping the Light and showing respect to the spirits, especially with how demanding they often are. A mage can be a lot of things too with how advanced Draenei arcane tech is even now, a hunter or a rogue can become a Rangari trained in survival and using cloaking devices… and that’s if you don’t want to play an Eredar. Be it a petinent one or a full-fledged member of the Legion, this is an entire different layer of archetypes to explore.

This is the way.

I hate Eredar so that will not happen.

I can teach you so many interesting things, though.

I already have an alliance character on max level so this isn’t news.

shaman is always the logical choice for draenei

Not sure here. Their totems look kinda off compared to other races. Too much Sci-fi.

Surprised to see you go Alliance! Between those two options I’d go priest. Seems to fit better with Draenei. Despite one of my favourite shamans being a goat :stuck_out_tongue:

Man’ari Survival Hunter, with a fel beast and a massive fel glaive!
