I’m not an elitist but I’m not a casual either. I’m in a mythic raiding guild and am super chill when doing dungeons and raids. Don’t feel like pushing higher than 16s and 17s since there really isn’t much of an incentive atm.
Since the point was people struggle to get 15s because they don’t get invited, I suggested (as hundreds others have) to do your own keys and/or get friends/guildies. Idk what your point is but as I said I like to differentiate between super casuals and hardcore players. RIO does that well and hopefully the new system will do the same. I don’t mind helping others with low keys but likewise I don’t want inexperienced players stressing me out in my own keys, or the keys of my friends. That’s all.
No I’m not. I’m not even the one posting those ideas. I’m just supporting the ideas others have. Heard that’s a social skill.
Why? It already exists and works well for nhc/hc, just expand it to mythic?! xD Funny thing is before they started with the “flex” crap and afterwards removed it again, hc dungeons were as hard as mythic dungeons are now. I simply want them back in my lovely LFD tool. I don’t even really care about M+, if everyone thinks those are oh so too hard for stupid pugs - keep them.
Maybe I should start posting “WTB friends” in /2? Oh, won’t work anyways, since it will immediatly be lost in boost spam.
Most classes I play can tank and heal, sooo…
And they are already there in theory, because every wow player has a spot on my friends list to play with me; the LFD only helps to easily interact with them.
Pointless metric. See above for examples, such as, but not limited to people ending up in terrible groups that have no chance of even finishing the instance, let alone timing it. They should not be punished for leaving.
Because normals and heroics are trivial content. Because of the gazillion reasons listed above. Not going to repeat them again, go and read back.
Yeah, no. Maybe they were about as hard as m0, and queueable m0 wouldn’t be terrible (albeit pointless with the weekly lockout). But heroics were never as hard as any decently high key. TBC, WotLK and Cata heroics certainly were not.
How about you do what I, and others suggested? Had a good run, add them, /w them later next time you do keys. It works, and multiple people posted just in this thread confirming it does. But if you’re not going to put in more than zero effort, and are trying to armchair theorycraft against those who did try, go ahead, do it, but don’t expect anything useful to come out of it.
Then you have no problem, just put a key up, invite the first 4 that apply, and have a blast. Since you can play a tank or heal spec, should be pretty fast.
The reason it might work out in HC is that HC dungeons become outdated pretty quickly and people move over to m+, so they create the population discrepancy issue there, but not in the content they left behind.
Theres no rational reason to think group finder would magically solve the issue with tanks and healers where we know the issue actually exists.
Really not what I’m after here. I just want the most easy access to mythic dungeons without having to go through that uggly abomination of the LFG tool. I can tank and heal myself if I have too, because the timer is longer than the time I’m patient enough to wait, but I just want the system to hand me some people over instead of having to choose them myself, and to quickly bring up some replacement if someone leaves. Also makes it possible to tab out or go afk while waiting for the dungeon to start instead of having to stare at ever changing lists for ages.
M0 is the old hc, which was already available in the LFD - I want them back, bacause the new nhc / hc is terribly boring as soon as you have WQ gear.
Apart from the obvious and countless issues that this system would have…
Can’t you guess the forum posts if this happens?
-OMG I got kicked from my own key
-BLIZZ REMOVE M+ TIMER WHEN YOU ENTER VIA LFD
-I waited one hour for a tank on my SD key and as soon as we entered he left
-I was insta kicked as a (insert non meta spec).
-Healer went afk mid boss
-Unable to finish a weekly m+, this game sux
-Game dead! (This one has nothing to do with the post but it’s always in the forums )
“You should let me bring an off-meta class to your group no matter how underpowered it is, just because I want to play it, and you should have to stay and finish the run no matter how badly I play. And if you don’t then you’re being entitled and toxic.”
I remember at max level the WoD dungeons were a lot harder on normal than on heroic, simply because you were grouped with people that weren’t able to clear silver proving grounds. It was quite rough
Kind of redundant in the era of scalable content, no matter of difficulty level of heroics, above them there is always a level where its challenging.
Other than that if they were to do it, it would require rebalancing of the rewards accordingly, and then a domino effect on all the other avenues of gearing. I dont see that happening when they have no money to make out of this.
You know the truth good lady, and we all know that Blizzard want people to not enjoy their game so they sell more tokens to people that love the game but can’t enjoy it, like ourselves, down with the m+ elitism PLS.
If M+ was done how suggested, I wouldnt do any M+ …
My Rio is not even 1k and I still get into keys, sure its sometimes hard …
So what?
Rio shows you have done raids and keys on your main if your on your alt …
And I for one prefer to actually see that my tank has done it before, with timer I dont want to go with people who never done a 10+ and go wooooot when pride spawns or pull bosses with 16%
People who ignore explosives, dont know tyrannical …
I dont want to do mythic keys with pugs, you never know what you get, specially if they dont have rio and even then they could have gotten boosted …
