Hello, is there a way to make the friendly names above players’ heads in raids bigger? As someone with not a perfect vision the small font combined with all the clutter from players’ skills make it really hard to keep track of people’s names and I’d like to atleast make them bigger to see clearer.
You could try increasing the following CVars. Easiest way to do it would be via the Advanced Interface Options addon. Aside from CVars you can’t customize friendly nameplates in Raids.

nameplateHorizontalScale - default: 1
nameplateVerticalScale - default: 1
nameplateMaxScale - default: 1
nameplateMinScale - default: 0.8
That said, unless this is for RBGs (where you’re concerned with LOS) you probably don’t need to worry about where each player is standing. You simply need to know if they’re in range of your spells and where key people are so they don’t hit you with mechanics (which boss mods accomplish by using raid icons and the SAY chat channel dialog boxes). Furthermore, having friendly nameplates everywhere could hinder your ability to see key mechanics.
Placing your raid frames (and player frame) bottom center or left will make it so you can more easily keep track of their HP while keeping an eye on your own positioning for mechanics.
