no need make it harder dont want wipe 20 tims row some 1 cant do tack right na cbe
I would also make it so that chrome time is available up until max level. I just want to play old world content without having to worry about stopping my level at 58-59 (something which Iām currently doing). Then make it more difficult too, why not, I like the option. Much like you have difficulty settings in normal games, though often you donāt get anything more for playing higher difficulties, an achievement at best. I always play fallout 4 in survival mode because I like it, it makes it more immersive, thatās the reward already, I would love an optional mode where the world is tougher, if you die you respawn back in town or whatever idea can make it more fun really, Iām all for it!
Nothing stopping you unequipping some gear to give yourself a handicap⦠others think differently after leveling their billionth alt.
That said, such challenges are popular⦠and Blizz ought to make a feature of it thatāll automatically apply effects and lock out whatever functions for your character depending on the chosen challenge.
Let completion of them challenges provide vanity rewards like titles, pets, transmogs and mounts.
The handicap provided by wearing no gear is not enough and it doesnt reduces the XP needed to level.
I donāt think it would require lots of development to just create a tabard, like said on this post, reducing your XP, DPS and HP. No extra rewards, no extra gold, no achivements (maybe a feat of strenght tops)
One thing you could do making the leveling content harder is to remove a couple of your equipped items. To make it really hard, go nakedā¦
Actually, I really would love to see this happen in some long term event or meta-achievement thing.
SW:TOR did something similar in that you unlocked achievements and rewards by leveling new characters, getting different classes through their stories, varying your alignment and completing certain tasks on each world.
It would be really cool if WoW did something like this. You start a new character and, after talking to an NPC, have restrictions placed on you regarding EXP gain. Youāll need to finish the main story questlines in each zone before progressing.
Might be best to keep it āper expansionā but maybe the final reward tier is based on completing everything on the one character.
Just a long haul acheivement run sort of thing.
Donāt need a whole separate game world. All you need is to not scale mobs to the player. Boom, done.
