Do you guys think Malefic Rapture feels so bad to use as a spell? it is so anti climatic to press! you barely even see the spell at all. Blizzard please make it that you throw shadow volleys everytime you cast this spell or ANYTHING VISIBLE like cmon this is so sad…

Wish they’d straight up remove it and bring back Malefic Grasp or something that channeled to make all our dots tick faster.
I hate spamming Malefic Rapture. I’ve always thought Affliction to be pure rot damage, and Malefic Rapture does not fit into that theme for me gameplay wise.
I do like the idea of shadow volleys though. Similar to Cunning Cruel trinket from Dragon Soul. Although that seems more like a Shadow Priest ability. Maybe if they made it more purplely and green it would fit.
When they first introduced it , it was really nice shadowy links from us to the mobs effected was really visual and they have removed it for performance reasons… while fire mages, frost arcane fill the place with huge graphics… demo fill the place with little demons hardly can see anything… affliction almost got nothing visual appealing… shadowbolts is like we throw little pointy shadow farts so anticlimactic … agony, corruption u cant tell that someone got it… its really the worst class visually…
fun fact is they actually gave it a proper animation back in 9.2 ptr but it never made it live
the animation was like some shadowy line from the warlocks hand to enemies which looked so cool compared to what we have on live
