true out the adventures we defeated allot of Azaroth villains and we are running a bit short with classic villains with only Ashara and old gods and the void lord and what ever going on with Sylvanass and possible Hakkar left.
tough Mal’Ganis and Kel’Thuzad i belief never were true defeated and still out there if im correct.
i was wondering if we will see them in the future.
and specially Mal’Ganis since we know the Nathrezim are a race based on lies and lying and plotting i was wondering if he maby could be involved with tricking voljin making sylvanass warchief
As we know Mal’Ganis has experience with undead and death magic knowing he was supervising the old lich king and helped with the situation in Stratholme to spread the plague and taunt Arthas.
and seem the death being dislike Sylvanass for keeping the dead and Mal’Ganis
is 1 of the only who could actually benefit by this even more so now the legion seems to be disbanded and defeated ( although the appointment of vol jin as war chief was before the fall of the legion of course )
also we do have Hakkar but he seems to impulsive for a plot like this and also he want the souls himself to and not undead and Kel’Thuzad loves the undead but dont think he would play sylvanass.
like vaellir said Azjol-Nerub yes but i think you talking about the conection of the nerubians with the pandaran mantid and i ment the dreadlord Mal’ganis
true but that was under Arthas and nerzuls scourge and with arthas he had quite the connection tru the whole campaign in warcraft3 and developed some sort of friendship.
dont know his loyalty to bolvar yet
He has none. He served the LK and Arthas out of his free will. Not because he had to. Bolvar would need to be useful to him for him to help him. Alas Kel’Thuzad was also ALOT more loyal towards Arthas as LK then he was towards Ner’Zhul. And he knew that Arthas had defeated Ner’Zhul inside their mind.
true but i beleif thats also because he had no were to go with his fascination for the necromatic arts and in nerzuls scourge he finally founded a organisation powerful enough that rivaled the kirin tors that he was expelled of and could finally live out his dream work .
and even then he didn’t just join right away
as after a tour in naxaramuss he first tried to flee in horror and repulse before getting intrigued and fascinated.
that was his only loyalty to Nerzul by the time as there was no other place to go for his kind of interest and by that time he wasn’t powerful enough to start something on his own as he wasnt a lich yet at that point.
then with arthas it was friendship what kept him loyal but now he is strong enough to start things on his own and not necessarily needs to be loyal to bolvar who dont even wield frostmourne
i belief the helm is indeed the majority of his strength tough the ability to consume souls store them and reuse them definitely was from frostmourne.
( you see it even in game during the wrathgate and during the halls of reflection dungeon and even in the end at the fall of arthas. )
so even tough bolvar has the helm of domination and is still powerful he did lose a great source of power to compare to arthas
Next expansion focused on death KT might return, when he killed in Naxx he even says he will return stonger than ever before. Mal’ganis i believe is dead, since of source of legionbois immortality was destroyed.
his immortality was indeed destroyed but he is the only dreadlord we haven’t finished of yet unless he was killed of camera but then again it never was mentioned so as far as we know hes still around.
The demons are immortal by nature (unless killed within the Twisting nether), they just have a giant respawn timer is very very long (which is where Argus came into play as a catalyst to speed up their respawn and power-restoration).
The only truly destroyed Nathrezim is Varimathras.
a yea forgot about that but that was indeed mentioned with the reason sargerass had to make a prison planet instead of just killing them ( dunno why i forgot that bit)
but the point is malganis never got beaten ( or i missed a scenario in legion )
so wonder what his role or that of kel thuzard will be since both those villains are associate with death and since death apparently becomes more important wonder if they could have a role to play or if there just chilling in the background fading out of memory .
