Mana Drinks below 75 need attention

When a Mage hits 80 they can make very good mana cookies - and before that they can just buy decent food and drink - as all other classes can - I’m just struggling with the concept that needing t replenish Mana is game breaking - because it is part of the game

Unlimited Mana levelling would be game breaking because there would be no melee DPS - just a swarm of frost Mages filling their boots on massive pulls

Unless I’m mistaken I didn’t see anyone ask for unlimited mana just faster out of combat generation. Mages can already do that, you just find yourself drinking through 15+ water per Classic levelling instance while keeping up with the plethora of Warriors & Rets.

For my other post above I forgot Hpals which I guess suffer a bit in natural mana generation.

The mechanic exists to balance casters and melee dps - its as simple as that - and it is hardly a problem

I think OP is just upset that they need to regain mana and that it takes time - they could win with unlimited Mana - and its Blizzard’s job to let them win - apparently?

Oh god just no…

Yeah, I always found it painful to have to drink twice just to get full mana at lower levels.
I’d love for them to buff the regen for mana drinks.
Food usually gets you to full hp, but not mana :person_shrugging:

OP is only wondering - as I have done too - why Food you can eat is same as your health pool or above, while Beveages you can drink is below your mana pool.

I suppose I never questioned it that much, just looked forward to meeting the next level requirement for better water.

They probably worked out that the time they spent drinking to regen mana over 60 levels they could have levelled 10 extra levels. If they had .teleport commands available no one would walk anywhere. More players = More of those people who just want to get to the end of the game so they can move onto the next.

Sorry, no. Drinking and waiting in dungeons increases socializing and reduces the feeling of racing through dungeons. :joy:

Levelling loads of low level pallys for the IronMan Challenge had had me wondering. I fight, I sit, eat and drink, and then I either drink once more or wait. This feels a bit strange.

That´s the spirit !

I would go even further and bring those pesky health food on par with mana drinks !

I suggest stocking full up on Holiday food as the regenerate percentages of both Health and Mana

Oh God, if “Jumping to Conclusions” was a sport, I can see several gold Olympians here.

Vanillataur nailed my issue:

OP is only wondering - as I have done too - why Food you can eat is same as your health pool or above, while Beveages you can drink is below your mana pool.

As for this:

NO - How about no you don’t understand Locks and no you don’t only need 6 shards in your bag.
Although I can see why you post on your 68 Warrior

I was a class leader and did ICC25 HC when it was current content with my main warlock. I can’t post on the classic forums with my retail character but you can check my retail achievements if you don’t believe this claim. Also, I’m not here to argue about using shards. This is not the topic of the post.

Arkoniel has a point about socializing  But this still ignores the solo aspect of the issue, which I brought up several times.

Edit: Apparently I can post with my retail character  Eh well, that doesn’t change anything
