Saw an interesting exploit today on Lontar’s stream. They were getting glad wins in 3v3 for a guardian druid and his demon hunter was using a blue ilvl 25 weapon offhand. It’s called the “Soul Breaker” and has an equip effect that burns mana.
Scaling seems off and this thing is really damn powerful. They had paladin healers oom in about a minute.

I just queued into it on shammy until i realise iw as at 40% mana, safe ot say kazzak players are hot on the heels abusing it already

Good. I remember the beautiful times manaburning healers on my priest. And then letting the healers live of course. Turned into useless mannequins.
I dont see any issue with it. Healers regenerate mana like crazy anyways.
Does not look like it’s reportable. The manaburn weapon just does what the description says it does.
Just needs insta fix. Doubt it’s reportable, it’s not an exploit.
Just had a DH with this wep drain my mana bar about a minute. really disgusting behaviour.
Got it recorded as well, and have sent it over to hacks@blizzard. I Hope they nail this cheater.
Buy mana drinks from auction house and drink in matches so you dont go oom.
Some old patch note say “Soul Breaker drain mana effect no longer affects targets above level 63.” that would make it bug if its now draining on max lvl lol
The limit on the proc where it would not work on targets above a certain level might have broken with a level squish. If PVP wasn’t abandoned they probably would have hotfixed it.
They need to start doing work they are paid to do

indian company, people just got over 2.2k 3s rating by abusing the mana burn bug. and ofc i cant report them after the arena game + cant whisper them, and when u try to go esc > support > report player it doesn’t allow you and you need to be in the same instance with them and right click them one by one inside the arena.
Guys, they won’t fix this. It’s 3 weeks left of the season, this item only drops in an abusable state in timewalking which is going to end soon and next expansion the old item will be useless again. On top of that it’s a pvp problem. They won’t bother at all.
They didn’t nerf hunter or dk or assa the last 3 month, don’t think they will give any damns about an item causing havoc.

Pff, 2.2. A couple days ago met double dh pres team with these off hands on 2.6mmr, played like rivals though
Rumors say that absolutely nobody at Blizzard is currently working on PVP. So the exploit will probably remain until after end of season.
Every % and every scale should go from this game.
