On the advertisement screen there are both female and male versions shown, but when i activate it in game on my female character it turns me into male mannequin, why? another thing is that if i knew that you cannot move when transformed i wouldnt have bought it even for 10 currency its completely useless

Good to know! Some toys do make you statues or a stationary object. The gender is randomised but going by the comment on wowhead someone had the opposite problem and was male every time then finally got the female form.
I guess there is nothing to show that on the tooltip.

But aren’t mannequins in general a stationary object? If it allowed you to move, then you wouldn’t really be a mannequin, but something else.

This is the thing that kills it for me.
I bought it, because it’s +1 toy for cheap.
But… Won’t use it, as it is.
Thinking they mean like Pinochio. Guess players expected to be a living mannequin.
Why? If it has a low cooldown, it can be quite fun as a group.

Pinocchio is a puppet operated by someone else pulling the strings.
A mannequin is the model of a person, usually for shop windows, and is supposed to be stationary.
(Though I do have a friend who collects mannequins and poses them to peer out of her windows … it’s very weird)

I use the bulk of toys during raid when we are stood around waiting for the pull timer or on a break. Can happen in open world too if waiting for a spawn 
The amber is good for blocking other toys from being used on you during such times.

It might just be me, but I don’t understand the notion that mannequins are assumed to be moving?
yea I gathered that from some of the replies. Mannequin/puppet is the same thing where I come from aka known as doll. Don’t lose any sleep over it though.
