I can’t agree with your decision. I like this old things with interesting utility and now it is gone? This is reason why I learned Alchemy. In BFA we can choice between Legion or BFA speed potion (BFA is cheaper btw), but in Shadowlands we cant do this decision, because you took it from us. You only did older professions more useless than now (herbalism too). What is the point?
I’m not looking forward to running SoO without speed potions, same with ICC.
If they disabled those potions in SL content, I wouldn’t really have that large of an issue, but killing them all together is a Richard move
what a bummer. Another change that’s totally uncalled for.
WOD potions that break stuns (Living Action Potion) helped me immensely in Visions, namely breaking Touch of the Abyss which is a 5-second stun dealing heavy damage during it. This place is full of stun and other movement imparing effects, running them without those pots is simply frustrating.
I hope we’ll get SL utility pot replacements. Speed and stun break pots are the most useful.
What you ruined my alchemy Failizzard ? Another good reason to stay in classic.
Living Action Potion was great on mythic Ghuun when you failed roots
So what in wrathion alike bosses my dk has to jump over ledge now ? or so no more free invisibility options from WoD.
Oh dread the day, when players have more options, right?
Remember when they nerffed Bear Tartar at the start of BFA and gave the reason of “We’re implementing a new one in BFA”. I still have yet to see that replacement.
I lost my hopes first in season 3
I like using elixir of giant growth to make me bigger for the fun. This saddens me and is rather pointless.
This is just a stupid change and gives bad aftertaste.
If the issue is that using free actions in current content, disable it in 60 instanced content, do not nuke the full system.
I am using PvP speed pots anyway so it will not effect me nearly as much, but this is not solutions for everyone.
why blizzard always disable old stuf and why only current zone expansion is usefull for anything and all other for nothing it is really stupid
Nooo, I farmed herbs to stock up on bfa speed potions for levelling to 60. This is such a random change. Why not make it they just don’t work at level 60?
Do Goblin Glider kits at least still work?
Sometimes, Blizzard’s single-minded destruction makes me angry.
As of today on the PTR, Goblin Gliders still work. So do Drums from Mists, WoD, and Legion.
Stupid change blizzard.
Well, I guess I will use my speed pots on CD from level 50-51.
(I feel like someone banned me from bringing my own flask of coffee on a long trip, and instead forces me to buy an expensive frappucino at a gas station two days in… just lemme ruuuuuun!)
every 5 mins
Just another example that they dont think about these things. And this is probably not only about alchemy but what about all the other professions, so all totally useless? All the stuff for lv 1 - 60? I cant believe how Blizzard has been failing totally for the pas few yrs when it comes to profs…
I guess this brings pots in line with stuff like the current monel-hardened hoof-plates and stirrups from blacksmithing that only work in BfA zones. I guess each expack will have its own version of various potions and you’ll need to level up professions in each expack to make them. Makes professions more relevant again.
Oh right, forgot about that… so I’ll need 5 for the start of SL.
Anyone wanna buy 500 speed potions?
What pisses me off even more is the 5 minute cooldown on potions. I rely on them in solo wpvp, usually outnumbered. This will hurt alot.
