There was never a question of whether we could have one or the other. We were always looking for something extra⌠And then there are those who are against it, because they donât allow us to have fun?? Because there canât be any other reason if it doesnât affect you otherwise.

I feel you.
Another thing has happened because some privileged elitists are delivering the perfect excuse for this company why they canât do it (blabla ppl dotn want it).
In reality, itâs probably a postponed issue due to the cost of redesigning/adapting the programmingâŚ
But there are always people who have to kick others when theyâre down.
Instead of focusing on what they enjoy, they have to interfere with others and make their lives difficult.
They are about as sympathetic and respectful as people who, instead of remaining silent at a funeral, have to say that they wonât miss person xy.
Itâs a more extreme example, but it amounts to the same thing.
Especially since I donât get the impression that the money saved is being used for meaningful investments that benefit the players. So there is o benefit for a player denying it for another player.
Trashtalk about free epcs is also nonsense - these new 5 mn dungeon solutions are âfree lootâ as well. I think lfr can be useful for a first and casual view into some of the mechanics for ppl who like to play and see it.
Instead of only theorycrafting or being handhold by 10000 addons.
I wonder how many ppl. downtalking lfr are using these tools because they cant deliver proper APM or Observing by their own capacitys.
Back to why we dont see lfr: My guess â Itâs more in the interest of optimising returns for shareholders.

Retail is still there if you want everything with 1 button.
Guess you have to take a trip to retail too if you find alpha-, beta-, gamma-, inferno-, twilight- etc dungeons a challenge 
Enjoy spamming the same 9 dungeons over and over every new tier for 1½ year for a new currency for your catch-up gear!

Raiding should be exclusively for players who put time and effort into it. Casual players can stick to dungeons and collecting. If everyone gets to raid, it takes away the special feeling of those who put time and effort into reading guides and getting gear! I am glad blizzard is gatekeeping it! If you want to experience the raid, you must work for it!

So how many alts do you have? Do you plan to raid on all of them? With xrealm raiding being unavailable i highly doubt that.
Theres zero reason why LFR cant be there - if u prefer catch up gear from a dung â you do that. If you prefer a chance of gear (certainly NOT guaranteed) you can do LFR
Any good reason there cant be both?

protocol dungeons are a cool addition as an extra option but thereâs no reason to not have lfr. it was there for the original release and theyâre faithful with most other things. thye only lose players and not gain by not having lfr

Careful! Soon youâre going to get all the âErr, LFR is right there on Retail buddy!â and gatekeepers. People will treat you as if you personally are going to remove all dungeons and the only form of raid possible to all players WILL be LFR with the worst players imaginable. /s People act like having LFR means H+ wonât be an option, nor will Normal raids and up. Both can co-exist, but some people REALLY donât like that answer for some reason. I get the feeling Blizz will backtrack around SoO just like they did in Wrath with the LFG tool (which theyâd face massive backlash if they chose to remove now)

fair enough but if you got something like 8 chars and raid on one or 2 a week then lfr is a great option if you wanna do raids instead of spamming the same dungeons for the entire expansion give us some variety.

Iâm dreading the bloat. Even just running a lot of heroics feels draining after a while, thinking about running even more of the same dungeons even more just sounds like itâs gonna get real bland, real fast.

No they donât lol. LFR is bad thing, allow everyone in to raid.
Raiding is not for everyone, we donât need ppl which canât do mechanics or their rotation.
Look at retail how lfr looks 
they must remove 90% of mechanics because ppl are so stupid.
Do you wanna raid? Get better gear? Just learn the game, get guild and play.
some of us want the âoptionâ to do it not be forced to run the same dungeons but slightly different for the whole expansion on our many alts.
who cares if itâs dumbed down a bit and have to occasionaly carry someone simple thing is donât join lfr go your super duper same dungeons day in day out with your gigachad groups.
JUST GIVE US THE OPTION.
