Blizzard even buffed it in SOD to currently be Mage BIS.

You have other decent options. Even P2 Gnomer dagger is almost same SP. You don’t have to be Full bis every single phase. Proc is massive only if you do aoe farming, otherwise it is same as Gnomer dagger.

BTW you are not alone, warlock tank also have same drop rate for their bis weapon. It is classic.

Hey, How the developers could imagine that put the bis weapon of a class, on a 0.15% drop of a 10 min respawn boring quest event could be a good idea ? Imagine you realy want to do it… let’s do the math : 466 event to get 50% probability to get the dagger. Imagine you have a perfect setup (i.e 20 warlock setup on all the spawn, and killing mob to make timer 10min) you will need to pass ~77h to farm that to only get 50% probability to get the dagger.
