Mark of the Smoldering Dreamstag abysmal drop rate

Mark of the Smoldering Dreamstag is dropped by Talthonei Ashwhisper. The rare spawns when you kill mobs in certain areas in the emerald dream, after they say “I will be avenged”. The line itself has a ridicolous “drop rate”. Sometimes you have to farm for hours just to spawn the rare. The mark itself has to be around 1% drop rate, and you can do it once per day per character. Who the hell thought this is a wonderful idea? Either the drop rate has to be increased, or the rare spawn itself. It is tideous, it is painful and not fun at all. It is also the last form that is missing for my druid of the flame t-mog…

but Talthonei Ashwhisper rare is not up

Thanks for the reply. I one shot every druid, i know which one I must farm. I’m telling you sometimes takes hours to trigger the phrase and sometimes doesn’t even spawn her.
