I got my Mark of the Spelunker Supreme via the solo shuffle arena and saw video where the people explained that the Vendor is in Azj-Kahet. Despite that you get the reward via PVP achievement and that the set piece have the same name and even if you point it with the mouse you will see that you will get 2 set bonus , there are 2 vendors on 1m betwin each other one for pvp the other one for pve pieces . On top of that there is npc jumping from the one to the other so really no indications which one is the pvp and which is the pve vendors. So it is very easy to miss click as I did and to get the PVE piece that for my wonder even provide you the 2set bonus !! I am pretty sure a lot of players will face this issue, which is very very unpleased and they is no refund time or anything . You get the item you are ⊠For me this is very bad design and the pvp items should be in the pvp quoter where all other pvp stuff are. I created support case of hope for refund ,where i am still waiting for reply so lets see. I hope that this post will at least help someone to avoid this painful mistake , because it is very frustrating for PVP player to get PVE piece that also provide him set bonus ⊠The pvp and the pve sets should be different with different names at least and on different places. I remember that ware times back in the days where life admins contacted you when you open case and help in such situations . Now with the globalization I am not sure what to expect but lets see, maybe they will check and realize that this was not so good dev decision and at least change it. So it looks like getting 1.6k rating on the first day is not always good

We get 5-10 of these threads every season start and yeah the whole issue could just be solved by having the PvP item vendor be located in the PvP area.
I guess you wonât make the mistake again next season. I triple check mine like iâm entering my bank details.

I played Sod and come back to retail and now got tricked with this thats for me is a ââlittleââ unfair designed ,as you get the 2 set bonus despite the difference pvp /pve gear. But the bad thing is one you click there is no turning back
Same happend to me, and I even knew about this from DF, I just missclicked on wrong piece and now I have two of the same shoulder set piece items. Amount of money we spend on this game and they make system like this. I opened support ticket and after day I get generated response to check wowhead⊠so I pressed on âstill need helpâ and day passed and no response still. Remember back in Cata when this happens GM writes to you instantly and solves problem in few mins and was very polite. Now if GM responds, they are very polite and that is it.
After day or so I got automatic reply that is sending me to wowhead for some general info that was not helping, after I clicked I still have problem I waited another day just to get, again, copy pasted message from GM âAâ that is general info about item restoration where my problem is never mentioned, I click on still have problem where I ask if they could refund it or not because it is bug that you cant refund it at vendor. I wait another day where GM âBâ responds and refers to GM âAsâ general message without ever acknowleding actual problem with spelunker currency. So I get 3 responses that felt like AI parsing knowledge base is responding and not human being, so no, we cant get it back, week one I was stuck with 1 piece, week two I will be stuck with 3 set piece instead of 4.
I got burned too. Got 2k mythic+ rating and bought the pvp item instead of the pve item so I guess I deserve it for not playing the past expansion and not google-ing enough what to do.
I bought the PVP item also as I did not see another vendor around. Turns out it was just walking on the back⊠This is purely intentional, so players get to buy a champion gear instead of heroic and lose 2 weeks of progress, as the catalyst loads every 2 week. This is just pure evil whoever designed this.
Before there were complaints that people picked the wrong one while they were on the same vendor. Poor choice to have them walking around, intentional to get people to buy the wrong item? I doubt it.
Also like⊠If youâre going for the PvP item, check for the one with the PvP tag? I see someone doing PvE more likely to make the opposite mistake of buying the pvp item, looking for the pve one.

having the full list on the same vendor still was better than having 2 characters next to each other, patrolling in the same way, getting the same npc jumping on them with pretty much the same name other than a single letterâŠ
I did the same >.< I was not even wondering why they set two NPC for this token till I got the wrong PVE item. I donât know if they can exchange the same thing with PVP tag for me.
I donât think it is a bug or something, itâs just very confused. They should note the two NPC sell different items in the token, or make the both categories of item in same NPC, that will make people want to know whatâs the real difference.
