As of today 26th Feb 2025 my Markman Hunter can no longer “Call Pet”. Just get a message on screen in red saying “marksman hunters cannot use call pet”. Really? Then why do they have the spell?

You must take the Unbreakable Bond talent in the Marksman class tree, 4th row.
It works similar to how Lone Wolf worked but now it’s the other way around. You don’t get a pet by default in MM spec now and you need to explicitly choose to by selecting the talent.
