Bet it’s on ashran with AA up on the MM with sniper shot and kill shot on a tank
Because else it’s would have been a 1shot !

nope was in wsg 237k aimed shot followed by 150k arcane shot i also have my owm mm hunter its damage is absolutely disgusting v clothies

Considering the health pool of a warlock
Considering the healing of a Shadow priest
Or a mage with barrier and Alter time that can make double of his health, and greater invis that can reduce greatly a shot damage
This damage has been empowered either by a Salted Potion (you can find on auction house) or / & a berserker buff in warson you can find in the house left side of the exit of the faction tunnel
Them combine can buff that arcane shot by 60% the damage already
and with missing versality? that make sense

MM is always oppressive in bgs, always were which is further seen by their playrate. Its not unconmon to see 7/10 players on one team as hunters. That being said you cant balance the game around bgs for pvp. The only solution would be to give separate balancing between modes which would take alot more effort than Blizzard is willing to invest. But in short. Yes MM is extremely op n antifun to play against in bgs.

I don’t understand this mentality.
“You can’t balance around BGs”
“You can’t balance around world PvP”
“You can’t balance around duels and 1v1”
“You can’t balance around low level PvP”
etc…
The reality is that you can balance around all these things but Blizzard have decided not to. As a result, the game isn’t balanced at all outside of an arena bracket that hardly anyone plays.
It’s no wonder that PvP in this game is dying!
(This isn’t directed at you by the way - apologies if it comes across that way! It just seems to be a commonly held belief across the community that PvP can’t be balanced outside of 3v3)

Im simply explaining why it is the way it is without putting any personal opinion into it. If you want my personal take, yes i think hunters are obnoxious garbage and wish they had a permanent debuff that caused them to deal 80% reduced damage in PvP, hell readd minimum distance and remove essentially all mobility from MM hunters n turn them into stationary “snipers” to ensure they are forced into PvE, send BM hunters along for that journey back to PvE n keep survival as the only viable PvP spec so the rest of us dont have to deal with a harder hitting hyper mobile destro lock with longer range that cant be kicked.
In the end of the day im a realist. Blizzard are barely putting effort into PvP in the first place in the ranked gamemodes so complaining about whats op in none ranked gamemodes wont get us anywhere. MM hunters specificly is the reason i barely que BGs anymore eventhough i fundamentally enjoy BGs. Having some sissy chugging salt waters with berserk buff n globalling you from 80 yards away from stealth n if they somehow manage to fail simply turtles, disengage n runs off at mount speed is not fun gameplay at all.

Exactly.
We all know that marksmanship hunters are extremely OP in battlegrounds, in which they are one-shotting fully geared people. There’s absolutely nothing you can do against a MM hunter at the moment. They have damage that you can’t survive. It’s not hard to implement templates for BGs to nerf specs like markmanship and also subtlety rogue - another spec that is one-shotting people right now.
Blizzard’s lax attitude regarding non-arena PvP is exactly what turns people away from it, and why PvP is on life support right now.
I mean, if they couldn’t at least shoot through hills and stuff that whould be cool. Getting sniper, aimed, rapid shotted from 40+ yard AND through the ground is impossible do deal with, mostly because for some reason other spells can’t do that, so you littleraly can’t do anything.
