Marriage in WoW

There is no divorce in ffxiv .it wont be different in wow if it gets implemented.

50 percent gold should go to lawyer .

Lawyer in that case will be a gm and it will get deposited in blizzard coffers of gold :dracthyr_nod:

Half of what has been earned after getting married. Let’s be modern.

that would be actually amazing, imagining couples sharing same house lmao

After a divorce if you go into their room: “You are not in this instance group” mesage appears and you get tpd out :'D

I dont know how long, but if it was actually true, im sure they would find smart ways to apply this system.

Cheaters will get an unchangable red colored Title before their name for a limited time, showing everyone this person cheated on their wife/hubby, if that person cheated bcos other one took break, this wont happen, but if they cheated when both are playing, then there will be this title and a penalty that makes everything you buy from auction house more expensive for some time, maybe a week.

They may bring an NPC that sells stuff to cheaters only(only to those without penalty) and maybe cheating related stuff, like rogue looking pet, cheater goblin mount who steals 1 gold and adds it to your character every 10 minute from a random person standing around somewhere in the cities etc, things like that)

I dont know if such ring exists, but marriage ring would be something, and also now that wearing a ring will appear on character’s finger in Siren Isle, woah… just… lololol

It should not give any perks or buffs.

I have seen marriage added in other games but it’s purely a ceremony and bond between two players. Nothing more.

I’m already married to Puny in wow… it’s not easy being one of her harem but :dracthyr_shrug: the cookies and coffee and top quality

I am still okay with that, but should have some cosmetics, pets, mount, toy, emotes(like kiss, dance etc), teleporting other to your position, otherwise its just boring

In RIFT they added one item for getting married and another for getting divorced :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

So you had to do both if you were a collector.

I agree!!! Just imagine the buffs me and Viziosa would get. We’d be two manning +20’s…

Oh I see! Is that why you keep saying “make your own tea darlin I have a guild meeting”

what if you don’t collect the one for divorce? forever married? :DD

I had to do the same with the Sylvanas loyalist choice in BfA, I had to sacrifice an alt to not side with her and get the reward. No way I was betraying Sylvanas on my main tho.

I actually attended an ingame FFXIV wedding. It was actually quite nice, two members of our FC(Guild) got married IRL and decided to do the same in FF. They put a lot of effort in the ceremony with cutscenes, vows, and everyhting.

WoW is not really a roleplaying game so much as it is an action adventure game.

That’s why all these roleplaying suggestions always feel a bit weird, because it’s not really the kind of game we’re playing - even if it says so on the box.

WTS husband, one slot left. Cheaper than on AH!

To be honest, I’d love it, if there weren’t any gameplay bonuses attached to it. Even portals!

With player housing, this will change, it will have both. I bet we will witness a lot of roleplayers meeting in houses if Bliz allows other house visits, i do think they will allow it since it is asked alot and they already allowed it for garrisons and with that, marriage would support roleplaying side of the game even more.

There is no roleplaying side of the game.

The roleplaying that happens in WoW is something players have invented themselves, it’s not something Blizzard have cultivated through design and development.

So if I want to play daily and my “wife” changes their schedule to play every second day, I am basically at a disadvantage every second day (No buff) or I can’t play with that person because they won’t play daily?

That would be a bit of a problem don’t you think?

This would be okay. But having it affect gameplay, one way or another, means some players will either be at a disadvantage or it will make a system, that forces players to divorce before logging off… And what do you do in 5-man groups? Then at best, 1 guy will have a disadvantage

As i said it would be still okay without that buff or make the buff something that people who dont have it wont get mad, o ly a small amount, but without buff, still okay, tho cosmetic stuff is a must, if it will allow you get married by pressing a button but thats all, what is fun in that, so yah take away any buff, but give all others
